hactar42, do games w You teleport into the last game world you played. What happens next?

I’d look pretty out of place as an overweight 43 year old man playing in the Women’s World Cup.

MrGerrit,
hactar42,

I actually watched that again a few years ago when I started coaching my daughter’s soccer team. It honestly holds up fairly decently for a 90s movie dealing with gender. However, Rodney Dangerfield totally carried that movie himself.

    PixelPioneer, do gaming w Switch update 17.0.0 bricked my console
    @PixelPioneer@lemmy.world avatar

    This is one of those rare cases where Nintendo could fix your console for free or give you a replacement. You should contact customer service, they’re usually very friendly and helpful. Good luck 🙂

    N00b22,

    Yeah tomorrow I’m sending it to a authorized store

    Sims 4, I really don’t notice anything different.

    Darkassassin07, do pcgaming w Is there a mouse that vibrates?
    @Darkassassin07@lemmy.ca avatar

    Seems like it’d throw your aim off…

    vlad76,
    @vlad76@lemmy.sdf.org avatar

    Yeah, but if you’re into single player games then it just adds to immersion.

    Darkassassin07,
    @Darkassassin07@lemmy.ca avatar

    That’s fair.

    Was just the first thing that came to mind.

    CoolMatt,

    That sounds like force feedback joysticks for aerial combat games,where the recoil is in the peripheral.

    But in modern shooters, the recoil is on screen instead, so I wonder how well a new vibrating mouse that recoils itself would pair with that.

    @Drunemeton@lemmy.world avatar

    If by “game world” you allow TRRPG’s then it’d be Golarion (Pathfinder 2e) and last nights game was “Case File #4” where a creepy leather bound book (the ‘Dark Archive’) keeps appearing and transporting us to various other places to fight undead.

    #4 was an abandoned mansion overrun with undead that we needed to clean out. Fuck almighty almost every room was a combat session!

    So to be teleported there I’d just run away. Even if I could find a suitable weapon I’d not survive more than one encounter. Not worth throwing away my actual life for some stupid book!

    Damaskox,
    @Damaskox@lemmy.world avatar

    Is okay, I answered about a text online game (TORN) 😁

    I hope the horrors leave you alone once you escape the place!

    Drunemeton,
    @Drunemeton@lemmy.world avatar

    If by “horrors” you mean that damn book?

    Then no, there’s eight (8) “Case Files” in total so we’re just halfway there.

    🤨🥺🤣

    Damaskox,
    @Damaskox@lemmy.world avatar

    Oof! I hope for a decent outcome for you then!

    cyberpunk007, do games w You teleport into the last game world you played. What happens next?

    I’d be deciding whether or not to start journey 3 or riding torrent around finishing things I didn’t do. I can do whatever I want as Elden lord

    POWER OVERWHELMING

    Tibert, do gaming w Do you prefer playing with Keyboard or controller more, and for what type of games?

    KBM. As I played on a keyboard and mouse since so long, I lost the usage of controllers. And whenever I have to use controlers, it’s a bit of a pain. So I don’t, as much as possible.

    Tho in some games I tried, like elite dangerous, I had to use a controler for movement as on keyboard it was painfully slow, or too fast, but also just to be able to use most of the controls.

    NOT_RICK, do games w You teleport into the last game world you played. What happens next?

    I’d be piloting a ship around the Milky Way fueling my hoarding addiction with theft and murder

    PrivateNoob, do gaming w Do you prefer playing with Keyboard or controller more, and for what type of games?

    KBM EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately I’m starting to feel the dreaded wrist pain because of that, so I may need to diversify myself with a controller.

    Pros: I’d only have to solve puzzles, then defeat an AI god at puzzles in order to be born into the real world and become effectively immortal so long as I keep up maintenance on my robo-bod. It’s easier than it sounds.

    Cons: Most human media is lost to time. I would be alone except for the fellow robots I wake up, and a lot of them are apparently annoying. The work of restoring civilization rests entirely on my shoulders. Luckily, I’m immortal.

    KaJedBear,

    Sounds like The Talos Principle. Great puzzle game that comes close to scratching the Portal itch.

    WereCat, do games w You teleport into the last game world you played. What happens next?

    RDR2.

    I’ll go ask Dutch if I make negative amount of money if I’m supposed to take 50% from the camp funds
