I had thought about this today. When I was young, I would endlessly draw pictures for my future games. My parents pushed me into a different career path. Now I’m 34, have a child and coding my first game as a hobby. Video games are the media of my generation.
It’s a hobby, honestly I would have never tries but my friend convinced me to just try it. I used the free Gscript starter app and KidsCanCode. Both are excellent resources that are designed to teach basics. Both are free as well and many months later im figuring it out as I go.
Kirby has never got enough love. DreamWorld and 64 were mainstays of my childhood. Kirby can be anything Kirby needs to be. Nintendo could make a Kirby card game, JRPG, racing or stick with the main line. The games would be fun and make sense thematically.

They asked me what I wanted for my birthday (which is coming up), and I thought something like that would be cool. Ditto on the old school final fantasy, I joined semi late at 8. But I played them all by now. The solo mechanic doesn’t appeal to me I like. team who has interactions and build bonds through battle:C And yes it has to evolve but it has evolved into something generic IMHO.
