Recently I’ve started to slow down due to other obligations this last week, it used to be around 35-42 hours a week though because i didn’t have much going on
With a 3080 it ran fine at 4k, I capped FPS to 75 which it held most of the time. „Survivor“ (the latest entry in the series) is plagued by performance issues. Fallen Order does have traversel and shader stutter though IIRC.
For those out the loop (probably everyone since no one plays this game it seems) this is Concord by Sony, which after years of dev hell launched two days ago as an online game, but has yet to break 700 players online at a time SteamDB Source. In contrast the four year old, often called abandoned, Red Dead Online has more players during off-peak SteamDB Source
In contrast, the super secret Deadlock has 36k players at this time, with a 64k all-time peak, in the same week that Wukong was released. Something tells me this super secret totally restricted early access might have been a 4D chess marketing move.
I’ve been busy travelling but somehow already reached 30+ hours playtime… and still only tried a few heroes. redacted is my fave thus far, I like how redacted is redacted.
They lifted the info embargo! You can talk about it now! I’m having an amazing time with Abrams except when I play teams that know how to parry. Laning can be tricky at first, but his regen is so good you can somewhat ignore the other hero and focus on last hitting.
I just want to provide a contrasting opinion to the other response here. I and a few of my friends have tried it and we just aren’t ready to dedicate way too much time to learning a game that seems to want to be almost as complex as DOTA2. So many characters, map mechanics, and item builds to adapt to the situation (this one in particular) - its just too much. Like, pick two and maybe I’d find it worth my time to start learning, but the complexity of all 3 make the game too daunting.
They did the same with Dota 2. If you wanted a key, you could just ask Valve directly and get one (if none of your friends had a spare), it was not an exclusive club house for the cool kids.
I don’t think it’s 4D-marketing chess, it’s more like people who’ve already shown enough interest to ask for an invite are more likely to leave feedback when they find something off with it.
For the record the devs said this game took eight years to make, and might’ve been pitched even earlier than that. I can’t imagine working on a project for a decade and releasing to… This.
Red Dead 2 took 8 years to make. I bet my soul on that Concord was quickly thrown together in the last couple years by temp diversity hires and 3rd party contractors, or at least the version of Concord that we got now. I love that one of the devs said that “a lot of talented people worked on it”. If it really took them 8 years to make that is the oppsotite of talent. In 8 years I could probably get get a double masters in programming and game development and make a better game myself.
So many times I read gaming news on forums such as this and reddit where the discussions just assume you know what people are talking about, and as a guy in his mid thirties who has completely disconnected from online gaming but is on the lookout for a good game or two, I would like at least some context!
As with a lot of people, the television series gave me the itch to play. I decided to give 76 a shot now that they had done a lot of updates. I really fucking enjoyed that game, even playing solo. It isn’t as good as the others, but it is now a decent Fallout game
i picked it up on launch and was one of the few people the enjoyed it. after all the updates though i will say it is far better. I’m doing a Rifleman build and trying to do my first Scorch beast (after trying at my first attempt a few years ago solo and failing at the silo)
This is taken from my window, and I’m not sure how I feel about leaving expensive equipment out in a suburban area for anyone to pick up and run off with
Squad has such fun gameplay and feels so good to play, it sucks that its only multiplayer. Squad on like an Altus sized map with map editor and a zues would be so freakin awesome.
I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but as rule, who knows? There are scheduled trains which are notoriously unreliable, but also unscheduled trains. Basically whenever there is enough cargo to justify a train it gets put out on the tracks and they move it when they can. Caveat: this is for Canada and is largely based on info from some former neighbors who were conductors and brakemen.
Freight is definitely tracked but not necessarily scheduled in regular intervals. This is true for both trains and ships. Like it costs so much and the world isn’t always that consistent.
But yeah like cp/cn/CSX/ns/BNSF etc all know what’s on their lines and where.
However these lines are fully private unlike aviation so there is no requirement to publically provide any data.
For planes position data doesn’t even come from the airline but a govt mandated transponder that communicates on public frequency on the aircraft and private websites use a network of recieving radios donated or not spread across the world to provide the public with a service they also try to profit off of. This doesn’t exist for trains as far as I know. And I don’t think for ships either.
They track them, but they’re not all scheduled. If there is enough cargo there they put on a “special” and they will move it between the scheduled trains. Train scheduling and tracking is an art unto itself.
