Given the swathes of posts about bad behavior from big companies, I figure we could counterbalance that with some positivity about stuff the smaller guys made that often costs us less too.
high elves start with more spells, magicka, and more skill points in some of the magic skill trees. they also can disguise themselves as a thalmor guard at the embassy and bypass the combat
I feel like my “all-time favorite” changes depending on my mood, but if I had to pick just one, I’d probably go with The Witcher 3. That game just hit all the right notes—amazing story, incredible world-building, and so much stuff to do without feeling like pointless filler. Plus, the expansions were just as good, if not...
With the success of massive RPGs like Baldur’s Gate 3 that actually offer player choice again, Peterson is excited to release his game to an audience that does want more again. After a rough period of RPGs where player choice and ingenuity were watered down, there’s now a hunger for more branching paths and player freedom.
daggerfall is so messed up that the legitimate strategy to beat the game is go in and out of dungeons and waiting for the quest item to randomly appear next to the front door
I’ve been playing some retro games recently (PS1 and prior) and I’ve been discovering a lot of games that I never thought I would enjoy. Particularly 90s arcade shmups and arcade style sports games....
wow i did not expect such rave reviews. now im extra excited to try this out. hope my fucking shite internet allows the game to download and doesnt randomly stop every 5 minutes
update: yeah ill have to play this tomorrow night 💪😎🤳
Used to spend most of my days playing live service games that required a huge amount of time, or big AAA titles that are critically acclaimed. For example, Fallout 4/76, Battlefield 2042, rainbow six, World of Warcraft, RuneScape, Skyrim, Destiny 2, OverWatch… Basically any really big game that you would find on the top 20 of...
it would be if i didnt have 3 other games i wanted to play as well 😂 already bought downloaded and collecting dust as i replay the same game over again
Been playing this game for weeks. I completed it and then started a new game. The game’s story is excellent, but it absolutely does not justify the tedium it makes you endure to experience it. In a 40 minute sitting, I’d spend the entire thing simply having characters dialogue at me. What’s the point of the open world...
i agree i tried getting into this game but ultimately did not really care for it. might try again someday but i got a backlog of other stuff i want to play first
i remember at the beginning, when that guy teams up with you and hypes you up to a bunch of shit you’ll be doing, i got super excited “oh finally this game is gonna really start! fuck yeah!” and then its just a fuckin cutscene
really? hmm weird, because 95% of my playthroughs are unmodded, and i still play it regularly. i would be extremely shocked if im the only one in the world not using mods
and hell, before mods were on consoles there were STILL plenty of people playing it
i disagree with the last point. mods definitely helped, but skyrim was a complete cultural phenomenon even to people who had no idea what mods even were. it was extremely highly praised and sold great on consoles. i think it would have been a classic regardless
I’ve been playing it for a good couple months and I’m still nowhere near tired of it, I’ll actually replay the whole game once I beat it because it’s so much fun. Love the story and voice acting too. This game goes on sale a lot so I’d highly suggest getting jt for cheap and trying it out
its a shame there is an almost 0% chance of a sequel, as i think a midnight suns-like game set in the x-mansion would be incredible. but i heard that some of the devs from midnight suns are now working on a star wars game in the same vein, that would be super cool
so far the only time ive ever had to lower my difficulty was during the dracula boss fight, fucking hell that was hard as shit. i gave up after 15 tries and lowered the difficulty and finally beat him on the first try lol
“watch the lightning strike the gunpowder barrels and we explode” famous last words about 10 seconds before lightning struck our gunpowder barrels and we exploded
BG3 has been 70 dollars since release, unless i missed a sale. meanwhile starfield was on game pass on release which is like 20 bucks a month, so if you play starfield for 1 month then cancel you had essentially paid just 20 dollars for it. im on xbox though, not steam, so that may be why ours are so different
Starfield steam page for the DLC currently shows eight user review score of 41%, making this one of the worst Bethesda DLC’s released of all time. This is so horribly, shockingly bad for Bethesda, because it shows as a gaming company, they are no longer capable of delivering a really good gaming experience as they had in the...
he’s saying “they” haven’t improved since 76 came out. i don’t know what else he could possibly mean by that, especially since 76 itself has improved immensely since coming out
what is factually wrong about 76 being improved after release? that’s the entire thing, i’m not the one convienently ignoring those facts because it doesnt support my argument 😂
actually its only the 6th time, not 14th. how can i trust your word now?
and 76 has gotten new releases pretty frequently. they are called content updates or dlc, which are free on that game. i think bethesdas only released 2 other games since 76, redfall, which was done by a different studio, and starfield
Today’s game is New Vegas, and it also marks the end of New Vegas for me. For the screenshot I originally considered doing my ending slideshow, but I thought that might 1) contain too many spoilers (though I doubt there’s many people that haven’t played it) and 2) make for too long of a post as I got almost all the slides....
