Today’s game is some more Baldurs Gate 3. I ended up going to recruit Karlach while the other players handled some shopping. I was going to go handle her whole quest but the enemies one shot me, so that’s a no go right now....
Today’s game is some more Shadow of Mordor. I got around to finally finishing the quest where you poison the grog. While doing it i had noticed that this Adaptation of Mordor is weirdly green. It’s an interesting take (and not one that i’m opposed too) but i thought it was interesting too see. I feel like as far as i...
Today’s game is Baldurs Gate 3. Me and my some friends finally decided to beat this (Me and One of my friends have never made it past the first act, the other quit at Act 2). I accidentally discovered the game had a photo mode while trying to remember the controls and got this group photo while there. My character is in the...
I’m thankful to have them to play games with. We all went to highschool and when me and my best friend were doing our Halo 2 Legendary run and about to move onto 3 we mentioned it to one of our other friends and they offered to join for 3. Then the 4th guy joined and by then we had kind of gotten a group together. I’m glad we were able to reconnect in that way
The waiting does get painful lol. On the upside it makes for some fun moments when playing with friends. One of my friends was talking to Astarion, and i got bored and was curious if i could do anything to him while in a cutscene, so i just hurled a Chest at him and accidentally killed him. We ended up rolling back the save just in case but we all thought it was funny to see him cut off the conversation and attack me for that.
Damn, i’ll have to try that next time. I’ve been collecting everything i can and hoarding it so it’d be fun to collect all the chests or something. Do they persist between instances of the camp?
Today’s game is some more Halo: Reach PvP. While I was finishing up the last of my moves to CachyOS (I only backed up my CompatData, Halo, and Skyrim), I took a break to play with some friends. We played Infection on Zealot (a staple of our games). I did really well up until the end where I got cornered as the last one alive...
Damn. Me and a friend took months to finish Halo 2 on legendary. I think I’d do a yearly replay if it wasn’t for that. I have lots of respect for you doing the replays
The high charity level was unbelievable. It just tossed you in front of some needler grunts and Brutes and called it a day. To this day the line “Watch out for the Captain, it’s got a Brute Shot” is still burned into my mind because of how many times I had to hear it
The forge based maps have some really solid ones. There’s one called Asylum (I think?) that I like to play Slayer on. it’s got like this little tower in the center with bridges connecting it too two other platforms.
That’s what. I’ve been trying to get into game dev myself multiple times the last few years and it’s difficult. I can’t imagine getting one game out, let alone a second one. Getting that far I imagine has to drain a person
Today’s game is some more Project Zomboid. It turns out who I thought was Cable was actually Carley Mangrove. I had forgotten my friend wanted to try a different build, so Cable is on a “Apocalyptic Bible Cult Retreat”, which explains how he lost all his skills. Anyways, we had gotten Carley a prosthetic, and she looks bad...
That’s really the only thing keeping us from jumping ship to Build 42. Once it gets it I don’t think there’s much keeping us from switching over, especially with all the new building stuff
I didn’t discover this game until a few years ago, it blew my mind to find out it used to be 2D. I kind of want to go check out the oldest builds just to see what it’s like
Some people find it to be repetitive and low effort, which, as much as I love doing these, I can understand their perspective. The last few days have been mostly Halo and Zomboid (and Shadow of Mordor one time) while I finish the move over to CachyOS. So I kind of understand where they’re coming from.
I still enjoy it though, and as long as other people are enjoying it, I’ll probably keep going (or until life requires too much time of me).
I don't find shame in cheating in video games. It was a stigma to hear about growing up, that cheating in video games meant you prefer the shortcuts in life or that you didn't know what earning anything was. When, that was all just bullshit talk....
Today is some more Halo: Reach. I just haven’t gotten enough I guess, so i’m balancing this with Shadow of Mordor. Right now i’m going through Legendary on Solo and trying to make the sub 3 hour achievement. So far my time has been okayish but it needs to be better. I did the first 2 levels and got 25~ each....
Today’s game is some more Project Zomboid. Cable’s hand had to come off today. His right hand to be more specific. He got bitten and we had to rush for a emergency procedure. Jerry sawed it off and we had our friend on stand by. Cable just barely pulled through. I prepared everything in advance. Bandages, anti septic, the...
The amputation was a mod, but besides that it’s all vanilla. I really like it because it feels like surviving an actual zombie apocalypse.
Honestly, i think the way it looks kind of helps all the features. If it was full on 3D like Skyrim or something i think there would be a lot less stability due to how much is going on. Plus the top down keeps me from getting overwhelmed
It’s a staple of any time i play with mods. Plus i feel like it adds a bit of “lore” to the character if they lose an arm. Especially on multiplayer with friends it can build their characters “lore” too.
I’ve thought about week one, but afaik there’s no multiplayer. I love this game and the NPC mod added a lot of life to the game, but multiplayer is where i have the most fun
RV Interior is definitely a staple of my modpack. It’s definitely OP. Though, I have heard there’s a bug with interiors spawning with a fuckton of zombies in it. So the risk of that happening is probably at least a bit of an upset
Today’s game is Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. While i was doing my ACIII playthrough, i was watching the LoTR trilogy with my younger siblings. And you know what it reminded me of? This game. It feels like the Arkham Games meet Middle Earth. I never got very far into it though years ago when i first played, so i wanted to...
I always hear people praise the Shadow franchise, and not to put Mordor down, but get the feeling War is the one everyone is talking about, so I do plan on playing it. I know a bit about it and it sounds like a lot of fun
Thank you! It’s been a lot of fun doing these. I’m just glad I’ve gotten a chance to talk about games I play. I like to help people broaden their horizons, and I think in a way this has helped me broaden mine too. There’s been so many people who have suggested new games and other stuff that it’s helped me try new experiences (ironic considering all the Halo it’s been lately though).
Today is some more Halo: Reach. Me and some friends decided to hangout and just play some PvP matches. We did a few social games too (Namely 8v8 CE), but those don’t have a theater and i don’t want to blast anyone’s name online so i don’t have any screenshots of those. What we did do was a bunch of Private games in...
Today’s game is Mario Kart 64. I was going to have a bunch more Halo screenshots setup for today, but i got fed up with Bazzite and suddenly hopped ships. I have officially switched over to CachyOS. I’m sorry to Bazzite, but i’m in love. This literally works so much better. OS Troubles aside. In the move i lost the Theater...
It was a whole bunch of stuff. Steam kept crashing while in games then reopening, taking focus away from the game. Halo just wouldn’t work with Steam Clips. It would crash whenever I tried. Hardware Acceleration just refused to work without running Steam out of the terminal with some commands. And then finally, the Game Mode (which was like a major reason I picked Bazzite) was too slow to be practical and Game Clips just didn’t work.
I was using the GNOME desktop instead of KDE which may have been affecting things, I’m not sure, but I had heard good things about CachyOS and Big Picture mode can substitute for a proper Game Mode. I decided if I was going to do a reinstall I may as well try it first.
That’s how I am with 8. All my friends like to play 8 and they’ve got over 500 hours in it, meanwhile I have sub 100. They’re over here pulling off tricks and glitches while I’m accidentally drifting the wrong direction.
Also yeah, I agree with the small doses part. Whenever I try to relax with it I can only do 1 cup
I’ve been thinking about swapping some parts and that’s how I am too. Namely my GPU and Wi-Fi card. I’m paranoid it will bust something. I suppose tinkering is like 50% of what I do for fun, but still. With how much I need my PC I’m hesitant
On Linux Valve’s Proton makes it so easy. Literally makes it basically the same as playing on Windows (save for a few rare games that don’t work). As for how long I’ve done it, I just have a lot of free time on my hand
Today’s game is some more Assassin’s Creed III. I’ve been working on 100% it. It’s tedious. I almost considered quitting. One of the side missions just has you fighting off enemies for like 3 minutes. I got most of them though thankfully. I just need to do the feathers and forts i think....
Yeah. I’m getting what you mean by that. It’s weird. Black Flag with like 100 chests and a bunch of extras and I feel like a longer story didn’t feel like a grind. But this one does
Today’s game is Halo: Reach. I got my friends together to get the Par Time and Scores for the campaign. We did it without much hassle. We only had to redo New Alexandria and even then it wasn’t too bad. It was a fun experience to do. I also went through Solo to get all the Datapads, but that’s way less entertaining and...
Me and my friends have been talking about going back in again for LASO. We’re not sure though because there’s a huge skill gap between half our usual 4 and we don’t want them to feel like they arent being helpful
Today’s game is some Mario Kart 64. I had a long day and wanted to take it easy, so i did a few races. It was easy up until Banshee boardwalk. Still, it was nice. I’ve always had a soft spot for DK Jungle Parkway especially (i have a soft spot for like all the tracks though) because of this bridge + waterfall. For some...
It’s the first I’m hearing of it but it sounds interesting. I usually take issue with my Mario Kart games having too many tracks (I find people usually pick 1 favorite and spam that when there’s too many plus just makes a decision hard and overwhelming), but i do think that’d be interesting to have all those tracks ported
