This is the first Diablo game that I’ve uninstalled within a year of getting it. The fact that it’s only been a couple months and it got worse not better makes this worse. It’s a seriously flawed game, and expansions won’t help it.
Close enough is fine with me, especially on a smaller screen. Imagine if it was like what we have with the Xbox Series S. It can play all the latest games just scaled down a little graphics wise, but not enough that most people would even notice the difference.
Gotta admit, if they pull something like that off and FF7R runs that smoothly on it, chances are high I’m going to get one if the weight isn’t too hefty. If it’s less than what a Steam Deck weighs (a Steam Deck is slightly too heavy for my weak fingers to manage), I’m sold.
Only thing I care about is that they keep the split controller design. It’s the only controller I can easily use while walking on a treadmill. Holding a controller with two hands while walking is awkward. The split controller allows me to swing my arms normally.
It seems like game studios cannot possibly do right in this regard. They can either be like valve or rockstar where they are criticized for taking their time, although they almost always put out great original titles or they can be like cd project red where they push out the game as fast as they can and they are criticized for rushing it. There can be no middle ground as to not rush it and to make it a good game may mean delaying repeatedly until it’s in a releasable state, and only the studio can be given that decision.
Well some people are always gonna complain but The majority wants finished polished games. So they can do it right. I don’t get the dude tbh. Does he really prefer to be disappointed? There are so many games to play while waiting
