cordlesslamp,

If Nintendo and iPhone can be jailbreak, then everything else can be too.

cordlesslamp,

“we’re still learning What’s best for PC players”

Translation: We’re trying multiple predatory methods to see how far we can push PC players and figure out what we can get away with, compared to all the shit shows we successfully pulled off on our own platform.

cordlesslamp,

I beg to differ. Angry Bird, cut the rope, where’s my water, Space RPG, FRUIT Ninja, and a whole lot more, are classic mobile games in the beginning. They’re sometimes simple, yes, but at least there’s efforts in it to try to be original.

Nowadays, it’s all Freemium p2w cash grab.

cordlesslamp,

Hey, is it too late to buy a couple of n3dsxl in 2024? Is it unusable now as all online services are shut down? Can you still find game cartridges to buy?

I just want something simple to play co-op game with the wife and kids on camping trip or on-the-go sometimes. Last month I dug out my old DSLite from the attic and it’s still boot. My candy-crush-4-life wife love the Mario kart and couldn’t stop playing LOL. But we can’t justify to buy 2-4 Switch.

Because fuck Nintendo and their predatory anti consumer business model.

cordlesslamp,

again? why did you stop?

Remember, pirating Nintendo is never wrong!

cordlesslamp,

I think the DLCs cost money.

cordlesslamp,

BG3 is the only game I choose to bought at full price. It’s well deserved.

cordlesslamp,

I’m such a sucker for Tower Defense games. Especially in sci-fi themed. Hope it’ll support mods or custom maps. Would it support multiplayer?

cordlesslamp,

And the fact is they still make a mountain of cash every quarter, just by focusing on their customers.

cordlesslamp,

What do you think was the problems? Not enough micro-transactions?

cordlesslamp,

When the game allowed, I make my character to look like my then-gf (now my wife), and named it after her. Idk, I think she’s cute and I would like to see her more.

Funny thing is I’ve never told her this and she have no idea why I always alt-tab out of my game when she walked by (she knows I’m not playing something that would upset her like a porn games or something like that because she can see what I’m playing from afar. She just can’t see the character’name or details from that distance).

cordlesslamp,

Aren’t the AMD in Deck 1 using x86 architecture? It would be impossible to change to ARM now. That would mean starting at square 1 and redesigning everything. And games compatibility would be thrown out the window.

cordlesslamp,

Sure thing, grandpa. Now let’s take your medicines and go to bed.

cordlesslamp,

Extra polishing will need 25 more years. Just in time for Elder scrolls V Ultimate Mega Super Ultra Universal Anniversary Remastered Remake Extreme to release.

cordlesslamp,

Isn’t the N64 controllers using optical sensor and those are one of the worst controller ever existed?

cordlesslamp,

Are you saying the INSANE GTA Online load time is fixed now?

Back in the old day, I literally just throw my hands up and said “I can’t wait for this shit anymore, I don’t have all day” then rage quit and delete the game.

cordlesslamp,

I watched a YT video about this and they said the guy was paid 10K (way too low imo), a Google search shows different numbers everywhere so it’s hard to confirm. But at least the guy got paid, for sure.

As far as I’m understanding it, the game was using a single threading process to load every single items in the game one by one (over 10 thousands in total), then checking again for duplicate.

cordlesslamp,

Hell yeah, you don’t even need to play the singleplyer trilogy first to understand it. My buddy and I have a blast 100% it. So good.

cordlesslamp,

Guys, what would be a better purchase?

  1. Used 6700xt for $200
  2. Used 3060 12GB for $220
  3. Non of the used, get a new $300 card for the 2 years warranty.
  4. Another recommendations.
cordlesslamp,

For more immersion, you might wanna try VR. And if looks is what you’re after then PCVR for specific, although there are some impressive contents on mobile VR too.

The Steam Deck is changing how normies think of gaming PCs.

Just thought I’d share something I thought was pretty interesting. I have a mother in law who is… well let’s just say she’s a stereotypical older mom who doesn’t own a computer, just an iPad. During the pandemic, she started getting into Nintendo games and bought herself a Switch. Fast forward a few years later and...

cordlesslamp,

It’s really sad that Steam deck is not officially sell in my country, and the ones available are all have $200-$300 mark up price.

cordlesslamp,

We need to support and embrace this kind of games and studios more. They put so much love and effort into the game. But in the end, this game will probably profit as much as what Fortnite make in a couple months.

It’s always sadden me to know that even something as successful as Elden Ring, which sold 20 millions copies and made 1.2 Billion dollars, is nothing compared to what microtransactions make in games like CoD (2 Billion dollars per year) or Fortnite (over 5 Billion dollars per year).

And people complain why they “don’t make good games anymore”.
