This game looks so cool. I loved how you shoot things into the wall and then jump on them, and also the clip where he throws a bottle up in the air, jumped up and hit it at the enemy. I have eyed Islets by the same developed earlier, which is also a metroidvania, but haven’t quite been convinced to buy it. Will be interesting to see how it ends up when it releases!
I just hope they figured out whatever was going on that made it nigh unplayable on desktops/TVs. Something about the way the graphics were upscaled just gave me (and apparently a lot of others) HORRIBLE motion sickness and headaches. Otherwise… it is gonna be a Steam Deck exclusive.
Damn, I love DONTNOD games and completely missed this reveal until now. The gameplay sequence at around 0:50 reminds me of the Jusant climbing gameplay which I particularly loved.
Pretty interested for this one - Despite the shortcomings inherent to their AA nature, DONTNOD games are always charming and full of interesting ideas.
Check out Boomerang Fu, Wizards of Legend 2, and Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime. I used to host game nights and those were the most fun. WoL 2 is arguably not as good as the 1st one, but I think it’s more accessible. Most of these games have kid friendly graphics as well.
Sick, I can't wait to replay Castle Crashers with the boys, featuring Hatsune Miku, the Lethal Company employee, Jesus Christ himself, and a bottle of ranch.
