Started playing just before last season and it was pretty fun. BUT they recently sold to Krafton. So good chance this is the last good season for the game/devs.
Personally I think they’re still playing catchup from their launch commitments, but what’s been added so far has been pretty good. Season 2 expanded out the endgame content and crafting loop by a lot. This season looks a bit tamer in the grand scheme of things. A relatively smaller endgame content system with some new loot. Some class reworks. A new chapter in a still unfinished campaign.
Tech-wise I haven’t really had problems with it after the first few days of s2’s launch, but new patches always come with new bugs, so I’d expect some instability at s3 launch.
Also like others said, they got bought out so………………. Yeah… we’ll see what happens with that.
The first 20 minutes are about acknowledging and discussing the criticism of the original documentary which is a welcome addition. While I didn’t have as many issues with that as some, it wasn’t perfect and it’s good to know that Chris and the team are aware of what could be improved in the future.
It’s a pretty interesting video so far (haven’t finished it yet) and clarifies some things left unsaid in the first one, on top of bringing new topics that came up since. Seems like a really good follow-up.
I think it‘s very one sided again unfortunately because only one side is interviewed. Although it is interesting to hear how much harm the writers receive through corporate bullshittery. Given how ZA/UM started out and where this odyssey has headed since I‘d say this is nothing short of a modern Greek tragedy about greed and selling out.
To give them some leeway - it seems that wasn't for lack of trying to get more statements from other people involved, and they did try to provide statements by all involved parties were relevant with what they had available.
Yeah, it’s a shame they only got one side of the story for this one. I was hoping there’d be a bit more when I wrote my initial comment but they pretty much focused on Argo’s and Dora’s perspective. I understand why (not much new stuff happened in terms of the whole picture, not everyone wanted to talk as can be seen with the limited responses Chris received) but I think waiting a bit longer and seeing how things turned out for everyone involved would be a better idea.
There were some interesting new details there but overall it didn’t really feel like the amount or weight of material worth making another documentary about at this point.

Saw this a while ago and it’s pretty cool. Some of the solutions to some puzzles definitely feel too RNG for even someone like myself who loves randomness. Specifically the ones where you gotta hit the energy pellet into the receptacle, near the end of the testing track.
