I’ve been really looking forward to this one since watching the first short clips. Also helps that Pseudoregalia really got me into the mood for some more Metroidvanias recently.
Back in the day I was always impressed with Tekken’s graphics, but it never felt as good as Virtua Fighter. I think VF made even better use of 3d space, and also added interesting environment interactions. So thats where all my quarters went.
So many weird fighting game franchises: of course Tekken, Soul Calibur, DoA, King of Fighters/Fatal Fury, even the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat juggernauts are pretty freaking weird. And that’s just scratching the surface. But that’s part of what makes them so dang fun.
OooooOOoooh. That looks neat. New enemies and environments will be a lot of fun. I hope the team put a lot of effort into hidden items, areas, branching paths, etc. And also the enemy balance which I feel is the most important part of a soulsborne game.
I didn’t realize they finished the first game, I thought I was playing something still in early access with all the bugs lol. But I’ll still check this out.
That seems like a bit of a stretch to me. If they felt the need to change the title, they would have done that before this reveal considering the war has been ongoing for 2 years now.
After seeing the USA part of the video I understand why Cyberpunk always happens over there, what are those lack of rights holy shit, “it can’t be fraud because you had no right to your game to begin with”.
It’s like the law is some insane reality where you are a criminal for utilizing software after support was closed down, but in real life the game is effectively yours if it’s a single player. Also “the gaming sphere is very unique on it’s abuse of the lack of consumer protections”, I hope this industry rots to the bone, but I’ll still try to contact my national consumer protection agency in Brazil, Ubisoft is particularly big over here so maybe something can be done.
