Didn’t the guy that made the 60 fps patch have to fuck with the physics? I’m fairly certain that at the least weapons degrade faster. Is the douchebag that plastered that on their thumbnail aware of this, and will it be addressed within the emulator?

Hope there’s more forthcoming soon. Civ’s gotten to a point where I have to know if there’s enough to chew on in the vanilla game if I’m going to buy in early.

I still play civ v with a few friends pretty much weekly. A couple times a year one of our wives and kids go out of town and we lan party from 4pm to 6am and actually finish a game!

I’m quite happy it’s an MMO type game. Adds a whole lot more depth and interesting end-game mechanics.

I believe you could still play it as a single-player game, but you’ll probably miss out on the PvP specific content.

From my quick search and bad memory, it can be played solo, but it looks like combat requires a group to enable all the feats and abilities. Doesn’t look like they’re implementing a solo build that can do it without some serious grind. But I’m sure someone will game out a solution.

I will probably still take it for a quick spin if the reviews are good, but as an old dude who can’t dedicate time to MMOs to be good at them, I’d just rather all games be made to suit my particular tastes. /s
