I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Dredge. I was expecting a fishing game with a Lovecraft coat of paint but the fishing elements and the Lovecraftian elements worked together better than I expected. Glad to see the DLC is keeping things weird.
Around the beginning of the 00s I used to play coop NHL with a friend of mine. We used to play hours on hours over night together as one team trying for the Stanley Cup. I still remember it every time I hear “Heroes” because it was the intro song for one of the NHL games at that time.
Wow. Star Trek Online is an embarassment as it is now, now they want to make it worse?
Guess i should get ready for its shutdown... Couple of years from now when its been milked dry by the zen currency bots.
No whining, no drama, just no sale, like many others will do. This move creates doubts about what other problems were considered acceptable. The first game is pretty good, and waiting a bit will likely see a discount and possibly a better game.
I think they’ve mentioned how many devs are working on Squadron 42 exclusive content, but then you have all the content and features that are shared with Star Citizen, as well as the engine devs.
Not sure how you’d split things to get a proper number for only Squadron 42.
Been playing World of Horror since it entered early access, great to see it finally getting a full release. It is a great time if you're a Junji Ito fan or just a fan of cosmic horror in general.
I absolutely love World of Horror! It just hit 1.0, so if you were looking to try it out nows a great time! Also worth mentioning that it has modding support, so you can go on the discord and extend the games content a ton (not that it’s really short on content to begin with)
All I want is a way to sell my ISK to recover some of the £k’s I wasted in that game. 😳
My jump freighter was lost and every year it was more of a grind to cover losses and just wasn’t fun anymore which is really the biggest problem! Nerf’s made ships bland and anything unique was nerfed so it was no longer unique… and now so much has changed there’s just too much hassle to figure things out! 😞
And it’s not like I can afford the electric to run a gaming pc these days anyway! 🤦♂️
It’s a weird visual bug. The only solution to remove it (so far) is by using console commands. Open the console, click on the asteroid, then type disable on the console.
I was already disappointed with the unimmersive the space travel is in the game, and this bug just added itself to the list of disappointments.
Some technical notes: When I looked at the asteroids using the console, I expected them to be STATIC Objects; they were actually something called CONST iirc. Just some fun facts.
Amazes me how invested we are in “games” that are 99% story, 1% tedious gameplay and call “RPGs”. Meanwhile, a beautiful, awesome modern take on the original Wizardry dropped, a game that says “fuck story, fight through this dungeon for your goddamn life, have some real RPG mechanics instead of 500 pages of dialog every five seconds” and no one seems to care.
JRPGs ruined western CRPGs long ago and the original BG was one of the ones that did it. Just make a TV show or movie instead.
I think you and I have different definitions of a role-playing game.
Personally, the idea of using persuasion or deception to get out of what could have easily been a fight is way more interesting than simply running around getting into fights.
