Your spoiler tag didnt work for me on alexandrite.app, just fyi. But I agree, they completely destroyed any emotional value of that scene and when Uriange joined Yshtola FOR NO FUCKING REASON I was just laughing, completely ruined the emotional scene they were going for.
Same thing happened with Trials of Mana unfortunately, the remake is good and I liked it but losing co-op is like losing half of the game in this series. I still remember how fun it was playing the original with my brother years ago (had to patch the ROM cause there wasn’t an english release)
Good on dunkey for publishing such a good game instead of trying to profit on his popularity with mediocre one, I hope he continues giving the spotlight to more amazing indie games
Watch people defend microtransactions in dragons dogma 2 even though they paid $70 for it. “but you don’t need to buy then!” and being able to customize my character shouldn’t be limited at all, literally adds nothing to the game
“It’s not limited by the DLC and you’d know that if you had done any looking into it whatsoever.” Stopped reading there, cause you clearly didn’t read my comment, nice try troll.
Eh sorry but even $0.01 is too much. Wanna make a free game and charge for micro transactions? Sure, heck, I even spent some on league of legends. But if Im paying for the game? I don’t care if its “just cometic!”, “actually a fair price”, “you can earn it in game”, all of that sounds like bullshit to me and always will.
You are set in your mind that those cosmetics wouldnt happen without microtransactions but the truth is that many games were made and still are where cosmetics aren’t held for ransom and the return for that exists in customer fidelity but ofc all AAA studios only care about immediate profit, gotta appease the share holders. As an example, witcher 3 had free cosmetic dlc.
Tell that to people defending micro transactions in dragons dogma. “But you can earn it in game for free!” except it takes hours to get enough in game currency to customize 1 character (you have 2) unless your second character gets hired, which is unreliable. That same currency is also needed to unlock cosmetics like being able to use the red color in the character creator.
BTW, nioh 2 you unlock customising your character after the first mission and it costs nothing in game, you can do it as many times as you want.
FF14 has an insane amount of filler in every quest. Sooooo many times you need to travel to whole different area just to have some completely inconsequential chat with an npc or they break a simple task into 10 steps with a long ass cast time that doesn’t show your character doing anything. I will say the story is (after a while) quite good.
Yeah, the barrier for entry for new players is insane too. This guy once bought the game and he is like “Gonna rush through the story so lets play some dungeons next week”, yeahhh… nah, you are gonna play with us in a month maybe more. Also, you posted this comment twice, might wanna delete the other.
Elden ring doesn’t allow ultrawide, which I don’t complain too much since it isn’t that widespread, but instead of just forcing the wide-screen resolution, it renders the entire screen then puts black bars on the sides. It’s the worst of both worlds (and also means they literally have ultrawide support but choose not to let us use it). I’d say fromsoft has a long way to go (not to mention the stuttering).
Just had the following email from GOG about account migration for CD Projekt Red games, not quite sure what to make of it. Don’t CDPR own GOG? Why do they need to be separated? What does this mean for the long term future of the services?...
Your explanation is actually good, the first article the other guy linked is trying so hard to justify bad hanzo players it’s funny.
Overwatch literally pings every time someone kills another, hanzo is a sniper, if he is good EVERYONE IN THE MATCH will notice. Good Hanzo players don’t play away from their teams, their range compared to Widow is low and they don’t have great disengage skills, they need their team to peel for them. A lone hanzo is a dead hanzo 90% of the time
Sea of Stars developers Sabotage Studio have confirmed that they’re already working on DLC for their warmly-received love letter to classic RPGs, along with their next standalone game. Helping them along the way is Sea of Stars’ fantastic reception, which has seen the game sell a year’s worth of copies in just one week....
If you are looking for a game like fire emblem and tactics ogre on pc, give Symphony of War a try, game is on sale and just released a DLC. Easily one of the best games I’ve played in recent memory
I’ve had this question looking at the Quake con sale, and Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth is for sale on both platforms. I ended up buying it on GOG. What is your opinion?

If the same game is available and on sale on GOG and Steam, on which platform you rather buy it?
