Had a great time on this month’s Swift Industries Social Ride! There were almost 40 of us on this ride since we all wanted to enjoy the nice weather after so much gloomy rain. The pace was nice because we were able to chat most of the time, but we also were given free reign to climb and descend more significant hills at our own pace. (Album)
Hoping to do more social rides this Summer since I think it’s what I really need out of my hobbies (both bicycle and motorcycle riding) now.

I've been enjoying Nexomon- Extinction so far, it's a sassy game that's quite fun to play! The game mechanics work as intended and there were only a few things which I questioned before an NPC provided an answer. Leveling up my Nexomon seems like a potential slog though, I've gotten used to experience sharing in Pokémon games; I must unlearn this behavior. There are cores which can act like an Exp Share, which is nice because there are two party members that don't need to hog a large chunk of experience! I've been juggling those cores around to passively level up Nexomon which were behind in levels while using stronger creatures to tank damage.
I appreciate the game's aesthetics because it reminds me of older Pokémon games, while remaining unique. The setting matches up with the desperate situation this world is currently in as there are settlements and camps throughout the land outside of their one big city. Humanity seems to be close to potential extinction. Nexomon Tamers are responsible for desperately keeping the wild Nexomon at bay so others can labor on in safer surroundings. I'm going to keep playing today and get further in! As the need to know what happens next is strong, I felt that similarly with Coromon too.

Dass sich das vermeintliche "Problem" von Bikern im Wald und "illegalen" Strecken aber nicht durch #Verbote, sondern nur durch die Schaffung von ausreichend vielen echten, ernstzunehmenden und attraktiven, legalen #Angeboten lösen lässt, haben die allermeisten #Regionen, #Landkreise, #Politker und #Entscheidungsträger sowie der #Gesetzgeber noch nicht kapiert - und wollen es ganz offensichtlich auch nicht kapieren 🤷♂️
Stattdessen werden die Mountainbiker lieber kriminalisiert und an den Pranger gestellt, weil sie es wagen, einem von #Klischee und "#Tradition" abwecheichendes #Outdoor#Hobby nachzugehen 🤷♂️🤮
Ja, aber Lobby hat nicht in erster Linie was mit der Anzahl zu tun. Es gibt z.B. viel mehr Mountainbiker als Jäger. Trotzdem haben letztere eine große Lobby, Biker nicht. Lobby entsteht durch "alte Traditionen" und durch finanziellen Einfluss. Jäger sind oft eher ziemlich wohlhabend und spendieren der Politik gerne mal was, um ihre Interessen durchzusetzen.
Und was den #ADFC betrifft: Der setzt sich halt auch nicht für die Interessen von Mountainbikern ein, sondern für Straßenradler.
Für Mountainbiker ist die #DeutscheInitiativeMountainbike#DIMb viel sinnvoller. Die setzen sich für die Aufhebung schwachsinniger und nicht zeitgemäßer Gesetze wie die #2-Meter-Regel in #BadenWürttemberg#BW und die Genehmigung und Schaffung legaler, reiner Mountainbike-Strecken ein. Leider ist das halt sehr mühsam und langatmig, da erst viel Überzeugungsarbeit und letztlich Umdenken in den Köpfen bewirkt werden muss.
Dzisiaj moje polecajki (i niepolecajki) muzyczne będą krótkie, bo dokończyłem playlistę "do przesłuchania" i pod koniec nie było aż tak dobrze.
EDIT: Właśnie skończyłem pisać - nie są takie krótkie.
Kill the Client - nieistniejący już grindcore z USA, który robi to, co ma robić. Jest mocno, jest szybko, a nazwa pewnie odzwierciedla powody, dla których panowie nie chcieli pracować na etacie. Można sprawdzić - nie spodziewajcie się cudów, ale przyjemnie atakuje uszy.
Ferment - być może pamiętacie, jak pisałem o Porońcu. O ile się nie mylę, Ferment to inny zespół tego samego składu i jest to bardzo dobry i satysfakcjonujący black metal, które warto dać szansę. To trochę ten typ, w którym muzyka swoje, a wokal swoje, tzn. wiadomo, że one się wiążą, ale warstwa głosowa przypomina bardziej krzyk rozpaczy przy okazji warstwy instrumentalnej. To nie jest wada (poza tym pewnie opowiadam głupoty), a wręcz buduje klimat. Warto sprawdzić - jest szybko, potępieńczo, ale dużo tutaj równowagi i klimatu beznadziejności.
Dodsrit - mam wrażenie, że pisałem już kiedyś o tym blackmetalowym (wg Metallum to black metal/crust) zespole ze Szwecji. Utwory są długie i przede wszystkim chodzi tutaj o nasiąknięcie klimatem. Tempo zdecydowanie nie jest najszybsze i są nawet solówki oraz melodyjne riffy. To nie znaczy, że nie ma tutaj tempa, ale na pewno nie są to co chwilę blasty. Wokal nieco wycofany, kompletnie niezrozumiały, ale satysfakcjonujący i czuć, że wokalista chce wypluć płuca.
Dark Oath - melodyjny symfoniczny death metal z Portugalii z kobiecym wokalem. Dobrze się tego słucha od strony instrumentalnej - faktycznie czuć tę podniosłość (tym najbardziej zwraca uwagę ten zespół), poszczególne dźwięki gitary i jest całkiem szybko. Trochę nie pasuje mi tutaj właśnie rzeczony głos, ale to raczej kwestia osobistej preferencji dużo niższego i niezrozumiałego wokalu.
