Yeah, Mandalore does some newer stuff (I think he reviewed the newest Total War Warhammer game as it came out), but it’s mostly older.
I’d also recommend the Ring and Anonymous Agony videos if you want more utter absurdity. Fair warning with Anonymous Agony, it’s as edgy as edgy can possibly be. And the Ring is complete nonsense but still a great time.
I don't expect anything will come out this but I really appreciate Ross trying to give it an honest shot. I can't help since I don't own the game but I can at least cheer from the sidelines an lend my power for a spirit bomb.
I love Ross pushing for this but it’s hard to believe we will ever see any results. Hopefully he is right and we see so some kind of success in Europe.
Infinity Blade only got ressurected this week and Opera Omnium shuts down this month.
From what I got in this latest video, the EU and Australia angle seems very promising, with many roads to possible success (for any EU or Australian people reading this, you can help in a big way!)
If a big enough market combats this we all win, remember, we only have steam refunds because Australia sued valve; but when only Belgium banned lootboxes EA just blocked it over there and moved on.
Yeah, the loneliness thing really resonates with me. I like to play this Minecraft-like game which doesn’t even have mobs. I live in a society all the damn time. It’s a form of escapism, to dive into this world, where I can just be by myself for a while, without responsibilities or the like.
100% agreed. I didn't even really play more than poking at Minecraft one time to see what it was about, and the instant vibe of being alone in a vast alien landscape with no other living soul for any distance in any direction is exactly as he described.
Oh my god! I 100%ed everything that was available in this game up until some tower where the game just said “hey, no more game, go away” and just wrote it off for half a decade as it seemed like it was abandoned, super stoked it’s actually hitting 1.0! Will absolutely 100% the whole game again, it’s actually so ridiculously good!
I literally cannot believe they actually finished it. I played up until the secrets of mana dungeon like a decade ago and that was all they had at the time. I had long since figured this game would never see 1.0 after so many years of them seemingly only pushing arcade mode updates, which i could care less about. Happy to FINALLY be able to play! Great couch co op pixel combat 👌👌
I think I probably agree with all these statements. New Nether lost the allure for me, exploring tidied a lot of the cute chunk generation bugs etc.
Buuut to be honest I didn’t watch the video. 5 mins in and the creator hadn’t really provided any reasoning to back up any points and was just repeating the premise in different ways. Not a well paced video….
