The animation and aesthetic is amazing and I like the music but … what’s the gameplay? I confess I got a little disappointed when it shifted to platformer perspective.

But I love 2d brawlers, and something like a hi-fi rush in old Streets of Rage / Capcom beat-rm-up style, with this level of art and quality would be awesome.
I love the aesthetic of this. I played the white label version back when it came out and then kinda forgot it existed till now. I’m not always big on rhythm games so I’m not yet sure if this will be for me. But I can already tell the OST is gonna rip.
Been following this for a while now. Way before the first anouncement, even - I think devs shared some in-progress gifs on Reddit way back in the day.

I’m really keen on playing a rhythm game with this level of presentation. Hi-Fi Rush left me thirsting for more rhythm games that have more character and impeccable style.
Wow. After watching both, the one you posted makes me actually want to play the game. No Engrish, good music, good visuals, and an idea of what the game’s sense of humour is. The OP trailer looks awful by comparison. It’s just a couple of gameplay clips and some freeze frames of characters, and clearly Google translated captions.
If your pc is good you should play it through rpcs3 which I played at 4k/120 without issue. And it looks to be Lollipop Chainsaw isn’t a remake and rpcs3 is basically a remaster that is available now.
I might be missing something since I’m not completely dialed in with TD lore but didn’t we kill Keener? Are they bringing him back or will this just be more of his usual gloating through audio logs? I’m not sure how I feel about either of those options.
Guess I’ll wait for a full detail breakdown before thinking about coming back.
I don’t play, but watched a vid on this. Apparently we never killed hin or Theo Parnell - they both somehow faked their deaths (Theo was the one with all the decoy shit) and are back at it.
Yeah, I just watched the Ubisoft Forward stream with some additional details on the new update. Can’t say I’m a fan but whatever - guess they still can’t let go of their obsession with him.

(And also potentially bring back some of those sought after Bionicle pieces). It would go against LEGO’s “no guns” policy, but they’ve broken that policy so often and in so many ways by now it’s more of a vague suggestion.
