Are you the only person that likes Daikatana? I thought that game was pretty universally panned. I haven’t played it myself, mostly because all I’ve heard is how bad it is.
I would like to see them all turned on at once so I can see the circuit breaker explode.
A bit more serious though, why have them all hooked up to one TV at once? There’s no way all that works right automatically. There’s gonna be some manual invervention to get the console showing on the TV.
I recently booted up Half-Life 2 to replay it. I have played the absolute shit out of this game before, so 60% of it just feels like a drag to me now. It was such an amazing game but it’s sort of spoiled for me after I’ve played it too much....
To most of us, this is probably just a summary of events over the past year or so. But, it’s good to know that this sort of news is reaching non-gaming channels.
If Apple really said their decision was partly based on Epic calling them out on their DMA plans then it seems it should be a pretty easy win in court. Apple would literally be meaning “if you say bad things about us we’ll cancel your account.” I know private companies aren’t bound by the first amendment but surely that can’t be legal.
I’d say League. Games may not start that way but they can end up that way pretty quickly. Like, people can play well in certain states. Once they get out of that state they may pay like shit. E.g get killed twice in quick succession and they start doubting themselves or playing to aggressive trying to catch back up and keeping making mistakes as a result.
Being able to keep a level head is as much a skill as anything else.
Apologies that this is not a pure gaming question, but I’d really like to hear people’s opinion on the Borderlands movie trailer and especially from people who have played the games. That’s why I’m asking here, I hope that’s ok.
I read the cast and decided that’s all I needed to know that the movie would be bad. Why use the characters if you’re not even going to get actors that fit the roles? They could have just used news characters set in the same universe.
Pretty sure it’s on the devs for making the buggy games though. IIRC, ET is unbeatable without cheating or playing a patched version. It’s far from the only one with problems.
My vote is monk from age of empires 2. These dudes can walk up and stare at your friend chanting for a bit, then suddenly they turn around and attack you. That’s horrifying.
Dark Templar from StarCraft. Just going about your business then suddenly you’re sliced in half.
A Ghost dropping a nuke is pretty scary but not much different from the real life possibility of dying from a mile you didn’t know was coming. Just not from an invisible person.
Being infested by the zerg would be pretty terrifying too. Not really a specific unit though, I don’t think. Haven’t played in quite a while.

Destiny had the same thing… If you could shoot from the Sparrow there’d be no reason to do anything else.
What are some game series you would like to see revived? And if possible, which entry should the new game follow from?
For example, for me, I would love a new Populous game based from what was done in Populous 3. That, and a new SimCity based on SimCity 4!
