Your post reminded me of my childhood, of how I had a PSP with a CFW and a GBA emulator, that made me look for hack roms, and I learned that there’s a digimon Pokémon hack ROM lol.
Installing CFW on a console is such a fun nostalgic childhood memory i’ve noticed a lot of people who do it share, regardless of console. I’m also totally saving that Digimon ROM hack for later. I grew up without pokemon and only Digimon so for a long while i was only a Digimon fan
Congratulations! It’s been cool to see your posts/progress over time. Having thrown a couple of likes your way over that period, I do kind of feel I am ~90% responsible. If you ever get really famous, I will probably tell people, “I pretty much made that guy,” fyi.
I also picked the cute cat when I first started the game blind and had no idea what it was gonna evolve into, that it’d go from kitty to wrestling star was not on my mind lol
I’m working my way up the generations and I need to replay Alola in the Ultra games since I only had Pokemon Sun before and had different livingdex rules when I played it. A bit unfortunate for time-sake, but I really liked the Alola games. Good luck on your dex!

It’s very possible to defeat the dragon. I can do it pretty regularly after a day of heavy playing. Getting the achievements is tougher. And I still haven’t gotten a clean wipe yet (I’ve been 1 tile away twice though)
Finally got my first full clear this morning, and I’ve gotten 2 more since then. I’ve now gotten all of the achievements and I just completed a 2 stamp game!
I did it on my eigth or ninth try. I lost several times due to stupid mistakes, clicking on a mine when I forgot that there was a 1xx clue next to it, seeing only that xx was small.
Have you paid attention to the patterns visible when the game ends? The purple slimes + wizard are really helpful to locate. I also generally tried to avoid using the walls since it seems like they don’t always give as many points as they take to kill. I also played on an earlier version, it might have been easier.
