Yeah I don’t know, I just used the stock Firefox app. I’m using Bitwarden and uBlock Origin extensions. /shrug
What I long press then ‘open in a new tab’ what see is something trying to do a pop up and then it interacts with the slide-out side panel, and the side panel doesn’t collapse all the way so it’s just long vertical side panel bar, that’s showing the right side of a search box with the magnifying glass, and it covers about 1/5 of the screen so it makes it really hard to read the article.
Any thoughts then and what could affect one Android app but not all the other installations of the same Android app?
As a software developer, I can’t think of very many, assuming we’re both correct about having the exact same extensions installed and using the same version of the browser.
No idea. does it look weird in the other browsers?
I only have Firefox installed, and not going to bother diagnosing the problem by installing others, as I don’t have the same problem with other web sites using Firefox/Android.
At least, I wouldn’t want to bother diagnosing the problem until they paid me my hourly rate. 😜
It’s definitely much more polished than the first installment. I’ve played for around 40 hours so far and can probably count the bugs I’ve encountered so far on one hand.
Is it the same combat system as the first? No matter how hard I tried, it just wouldn’t click for me. Ended up modding myself invincible in order to beat the game…
I’ll do it again too if I need to because I love everything else about the game, but I’d prefer not to
It gets too easy too fast IMO. I haven’t done much of the main quest yet but I’m already a invincible human tank and killing armored enemies with single hits. I might swap my sword with a lower tier weapon to get a bit of the challenge back.
The nice part: you don’t have to engage into combat. You can talk your way out or maybe, what will suit you more, use poison and be friend with the shadow.
I thought it was supposed to have the nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor and I am excited for that to return. Wonder woman takes down Cheetah only for her to return later with a new scar and upgrade based on how you beat her last
If anyone cares, I wrote a piece addressing this as well. It’s a classic story of a harvard executive not understanding video games, not understanding the industry, and failing at every opportunity. Jason Schreier was the one with the original scoop. Jason’s article is really meaty and worth the read.
Wonder woman is, in my opinion, an odd choice for a video game. I think it could be really good, and her rope would translate well to video game mechanics, but it doesn’t feel like Wonder Womans time to shine right now
Thanks for the write up! I had no idea this is why Suicide Squad was such a letdown.

Id argue that I felt the same about Batman not being translatable to a game during the 2000s. Video games based on comics were absolutely awful. Superman 64 was a nightmare, and Batman games were beat-em-ups or platformers.
But really smart creatives made the Arkham series work. So I’m optimistic that in the hands of strong visionaries, it’s absolutely possible.
Now, do I think WB has the capacity to make a good Wonder Woman game? Haha nope. Not after what they’ve shown in the last few years.
I’m imagining an LA noir style section involving the lasso of truth (?). And i haven’t seen the movies, but watched reviews, and there seems there might need enough upgrade paths to ramp up the combat elements. Maybe she gets with Batman to upgrade her suit?
Hell, even a tomb raider style origin story might work, if they don’t skimp on the writing team.
I think making it a modern style Tomb Raider, mixed with some mechanics of the new God of War games would be best imo.
Like maybe you start out on Themyscira and you go through some training that the other Amazons go through as like a tutorial, and then the rest of the game has you going to secret temples and ruins spread around the world. An upgrade system could work seamlessly too; maybe sprinkle shrines to the gods throughout the maps that give you points so you can add “favors” or something that makes you stronger.
So it’s kind of an origin story showing how Diana becomes Wonder Woman, and how she has all those powers that other Amazons don’t.
A WW game with the same sort of vibe as the latest Indiana Jones might actually rock, now that I think of it. Speaking of Batman, Arkane and the right property in the right hands… that Great Circle game came outta nowhere as far as I was concerned.
