Oh man! You’ve just giving me something that I think will really help stoke the fire in my relationship!
I’ve never really been into sexual roleplay and it’s one of the things my partner previously expressed an interest in. We regularly game together either doing co-op or single player since we feel it’s more engaging sometimes than zoning out on a movie., so the recommendations like “Leap of Love” sounds like the perfect gaming/drinking night that might kinda dip into the roleplaying aspect!
I really wish I claimed it when I saw it, just a few clicks and I’m kicking myself for it now. Are there any others you or anyone else would recommend that are more fantasy roleplay focused and might be good for two people?
That’s a difficult one. Due to their target audience, a lot of them are more focused on storytelling (usually limited gameplay and more reading along in a choose your own adventure style) for a single player. What you’re describing is a bit of an untapped market, but give F95zone.to a look and you might find something. It’s a site dedicated to collating freely available adult games (with ways to support the authors linked). It’s where a lot of the games OP talks about found their audience.
I’ve been into nsfw games for a while, but I do genuinely enjoy a lot of them. Corruption of Champions 2 is a great game, with a lot of customization and great characters, though it is apparent that the game isn’t finished yet.
Tales of Androgyny has some of the highest quality scenes I’ve encountered in an nsfw game. It’s also pretty funny. More games should have a femboy protagonist, is all I’m saying.
It’s not out just yet, but it sounded like they’re close based on the discussion board. Demo took me an hour or two to run through, worth the time if you like the subject matter. Quinn is adorbs.
I used to be good at Mario 1, but I cannot play it on emulators. It feels like there’s a delay. It feels a little like Mario is on ice, much like the ice levels of Mario 2. Mario is running, and I want to jump or stop, but there’s a noticeable delay and it makes me feel like my old ass has lost my touch. But playing any modern game, my reflexes are good enough. In a Nintendo to Nintendo comparison, I play Animal Crossing on the Switch, and sure enough, if I’m running and pull back on the stick, my villager skids at exactly the time I want them to. But on that same Switch with the same controller, I can’t control Mario in Mario 1 worth a damn. I do just fine in Super Mario Wonder, though.
(Side note, more to do with Animal Crossing than older games, but I’ve noticed a wired controller, plugged into the Switch dock via USB, with the Switch on the dock, gets more latency than the Switch in handheld mode, which I’m pretty sure uses Bluetooth to connect to its controllers, even if they’re physically connected — not 100% sure on that. But for one example, fishing — even the five-star rarity fish — is quite easy in handheld. But, with the wired connection, I mash A as soon as the fish bites, and it still slips my hook. Maybe the latency isn’t from the controller to the dock to the Switch, maybe it’s from the Switch to the dock to the TV (and speakers since I close my eyes and listen for the sound, which most animal crossers agree is the best way to fish).)
It’s mostly the TV. The input difference between wired and BT should be very small, though the switch is not optimized for wired controllers. The variability of TV response times on the other hand it massive in comparison. Specially modern TVs with heavy post processing who think they are clever trying to interpolate frames or other shit like bad HDR implementations, etc. HDMI DRM also adds latency.
All that causes most TVs to be subpar for gaming. I still game on TV, mostly cozy games. But I accept that nothing competitive will come out of gaming on a TV.
Its wild how gooning and porn are so normalized to the point they harass real woman in their comments and dms 24/7 but god forbid a porn game, I like them ocassionally, when I don’t want to be lazy and I’m in a gaming mood, it’s like reading some Choose your own adventure erotica with visuals, but the story is porn story adjacent
It seems less bad to me, I actually have to use my brain a little, idk I get bored using the same content daily, every one in a while I’ll use vr, comics, books, or a game, but tbh whenever I start to need something extra like that I just don’t jerk off for a day to normalize, don’t want to enter the gooner mindset
It’s such a liminal game. Love it. Some colossi are frustrating, though, but remember they all have a strategy to them — the battles are like puzzles. Don’t be ashamed to look up the solutions if you get stuck. They still take some skill to carry out once you’ve figured them out.
Guilty Gear Strive just got a big balance patch and a matchmaking update, and it’s great to be back. The experience of playing the game is better than ever.
I’ve still been going through Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It remains the best game I’ve played this year. I’m working my way through the Brushes With Death DLC, which has some interesting mission design if not the most compelling narrative. I think I’ve done all the side quests I planned to do before finishing the game, so I’ve got the last third or so of the main quest to return to after I finish the DLC. Then the second expansion comes out early next month.
I also started playing Mafia: Definitive Edition, and boy have I missed crime drama stories in video games. This one is pretty by-the-numbers when it comes to gameplay, but after 4 hours, they’ve got plenty of interesting set pieces and narrative beats. I’m very much into this. I plan to play through the next two games before picking up The Old Country.
Other than those, I’ve got a project I’m working on to set up a VPN that I control, rather than trusting an external service whose terms of service could change at any time, so that I can play old LAN games with my friends in this era of live service multiplayer games. Once I get it all sorted out and working, maybe I’ll write up a post here so others can do the same.
Well I haven’t actually played it. But you start out in the center of a forest. You have a fire. You collect would to level up the fire. That opens more space in the forest… you collect things, level up things, find things… there is a random deer that attacks you at night or something. And some wolves at some point. But unlike raft, satisfactory or Minecraft it is a shorter overall play through. And the forest is different each time. So you play until you die or win. But it doesn’t let you save, which is annoying for me, even if a play through should only take an hour or so.
I am open to other ideas as well. We have put many many hours into raft. Also satisfactory, minecraft, tf2 (though my wife doesn’t like that one :) )
You can play split screen multiplayer if you go to the 2p wireless mode and make an empty room to run around in. There’ll be an annoying waiting to connect message at the very bottom though. The only downside is that you can’t do the P block challenges. But the ? Panels and Peach Medallions are still there. My 4 year old loves doing this with me.
I handed it to my brother the other day to play for me and the P Blocks and ? panels were like his favorite thing to do lol. Races? Nope. He wants to do collectibles. Granted he’s older than your 4 year old, but it is funny seeing how much children are enjoying the collectibles
