Git itself is meant to be used to track the source code and assets needed to compile or run a specific application, therefor adding a binary is kinda strange as it is already is created and not source code anymore.
There is a special place for that on GitHub. You should create a release for each version with information what changed and add the binary there as asset.
In a perfect world those binaries should be build by an CI pipeline but I think it's okay if not.
I absolutely love the FF7R series and love what they've done with it.
I have played other remakes that are basically exact carbon copies and eventually I get bored of them or can recognize that there are some gaming mechanics from 20 years ago that aren't really great in today's era.
So I enjoy how FF7R tried a more daring approach and... at least for me it worked well. From combat to story telling, I give it full marks. I know it's not for everyone, but they're some of my favorite games ever.
I like these more experimental remakes. Silent Hill 2’s Remake was the same way and it offered something new yet different which i really like. I really hope we get more of these experimental remakes
When used properly it makes sense. But there are only rare occasions when that is appropriate. So instead everyone just uses it all the time and so no one really understands when it should be used. Dumb.
To continue this logic, if “nobody” says nothing it could be construed as the start of the conversation, implying the subject came to the conclusion without prompting or context

It might be a fun moment in a soulslike when you’re fighting a same-sized story character that used to be a friend, they display the health bar as “x8”, and then each time one is depleted, they use a healing item inbetween swings.
Playing the FF7 remake felt really dated in terms of a lot of things. After playing God of War and others, the cinematics felt cheesy and less cohesive now in FF … I didn’t care for much of any of the voice acting. A lot of the side quests didn’t fit “in world” to me. The heck do I care about some lost kittens? Why am I figuring out this time-wasting crane control? … Also, not sure what’s going on with the “ghosts”. I didn’t like the combat and found it annoying. Which is strange because I enjoyed FF15: The backstreet boys edition and even Guardians.
On the positives, I felt if I could take a screenshot of any part of the game and sent it back to the younger version of me … My mind would be blown. I’d just stop the game several times to just admire the scenery and the look.
spoilers!Fighting Sephiroth so many times felt odd. I felt it feel off story-wise.
Everyone loves FF 7 remake and all that and I know I’m in minority but it put me off Rebirth. I’m happy other people enjoy it now though. I just wish I was one of them.
I haven’t played the OG (outside of a little bit on Xbox through the re-release) but i can definitely understand why the differences might not be for everyone, especially with all the added stuff
Some mechanics are just subjectively annoying, especially in PvE. Enemies healing themselves is one. Enemies stunning the player is another. In MY amazing dev company we would have none of that.
It makes me wish i had explored them when i was younger. I got like halfway through and had to return my copy to the library and never got to check it out again because one of the other Library Borrowers left it out and it got ruined
Finished Xenosaga Episode I. I enjoyed it, even if the combat started to grate on me towards the end.
Started Resonance of Fate. Combat and controls are a bit confusing, but it seems interesting. Unfortunately there’s a lot of annoying visual glitches when playing on my PC.
