I enjoy Super Mecha Champions. It is a gacha game, but its gameplay is actually pretty good. Its a battle royale where you can summon mecha mid-battle. Not a whole lot of players these days, but TDM is bussin around 2pm PST and every week has two pinnacle games where players compete for a special title that expires each week.
I had the original Xbox with Live to play with friends, and I played XBLA on the 360; but I didn’t know about the Arcade function on the original. I don’t remember hearing any of my gaming friends talk about it, either.
This is neat. I would have loved to have played some of these alongside what I did on the 360. Feels similar. Marble Blast Ultra, Geometry Wars, etc. I had no idea either.
Beyond all reason. I stared a few months ago new to the genre and after 100 hours of multiplayer I still sucked I was the lowest rank getting flamed most games.
Now I’ve got 250 hours under my belt and I’m really enjoying it. Started doing 1v1s which sped up my progress as it forced me to address the weaknesses I’d developed from playing 8v8.
Lots of Baldurs Gate 3. I am on my first playthrough and near the end of the game, with 130 hours so far. It is probably my favorite game ever. Can’t wait to finish!
I’m using Steam without any issues on Linux Mint. If you consider that, people prefer installing the .deb from the website over flatpak or the version of the Software Manager in Mint.
flatpak borks VR, per steam. For the Linux compatible non VR games Ubuntu worked great under Gnome. I am most of the way to having VR working but I had to switch from Gnome on Ubuntu to Kubuntu. Now to figure out how to get the room setup to run, some other file is running and setup cannot launch. 1 step at a time.
Manor Lords. Its got some annoying bugs in this EA version, but the developer should be really happy. Enjoying what is in front of me. Its beautiful, mind boggling at times, and fun.
