They don’t have a lot of locations yet, but by sheer good luck they do have one near me. Looks like an excellent way to get rid of some books when I some day get around to clearing out some space on a shelf.
You should be able to, ahem, find some convinent ROM collections on most torrent indexers. A standard NES game is only ~128kb, so the whole library of games is only like 750mb. It scales exponentially with every generation as data storage improved, so the SNES library is 2gb, the N64’s is 5gb, and the PS3’s is 20tb. I find that I really don’t need the full library of a consoles releases available, so I usually only choose maybe a hundred or two that I’m interested in, there’s only so much time in the day. If you don’t need a handheld device I can recommend modding your ps3, it can emulate most anything, the hombrew scene is active and there’s been a lot of support for it, plus for the majority of consoles it’s a full custom firmware solution, so it’s a pretty seemless experience once you set it up. Plus with the internal hdd there’s plenty of space for stuff. Pretty much everything up to last gen is easily pirateable, so have fun with it, it’s easy once you get the hang of it.
I spend like 20x time on YouTube compared to other premium streaming services, knowing the money at least partially goes to the creators and that it’s usually a much larger source of revenue than the midroll ads (and the fact I spend like 40% of my watch time on an iPad) makes it pretty worth it to me. Other than that I use uBlock on medium/high, but if there was an extention that could skip the sponsor segments inside the videos themselves I’d use it in a heartbeat.
It’s a no-brainer. You get a music service at the same price as everyone else. They just add on ad-free YouTube. I don’t get why so many people hate the idea of it.
I've had Google Play Music (and YouTube Premium as a freebie) since it launched at $7.99 per month. Folks like me who were grandfathered in at that price just got an increase to $13.99, which forced me to cancel. I can't afford restaurants or takeout anymore with inflation as bad as it is, and I guess I can't afford YouTube either.

sponsorblock does that. it's crowd sourced, so it doesn't always work with the small channel newest videos, but it's very good at what it does considering.
It’s quite amazing how well sponsorblock works really. I spend a shit ton of time on youtube and I almost never have to mark those sections of the video myself because someone else did it already.

Jellyfin can’t block media. The connections are direct. Jellyfin db performance is noticeably slower than plex with 500k media items but it can still handle it
