Some people really just don’t care about that at all

I have to wonder what kind of ammo that is really, I’m a firearms enthusiast and have never seen armor piercing ammo for sale anywhere. Pretty sure it is illegal everywhere.

I can’t wait to play it in three years

Can I override Sonarr season numbers angielski

I’m trying to finish grabbing a show, but Sonarr says the final season is #3, while the rest of the internet (i.e. torrent sites) says that season is #5. It looks like the first 2 seasons were split up into 1/2 seasons when originally shown. So while Sonarr is looking for Season 3, it’s finding the first half of what it...

I’m so excited to finally play this game without feeling like I’m missing out on future gameplay updates

I’m always saying the best time to play a game is 3 years after release.

I wonder if this means the multiplayer will stop working?

[ENDED] Giving away TorrentLeech invites. Not selling or trading, they're just yours (www.torrentleech.org) angielski

Hi. Following on from my previous giveaway last month, I now have FOUR TorrentLeech invites that I’m just giving away. No bullshit, just say you want it and it might be yours....

It is exactly as shitty as I expected it to be. Another crappy bethesda game in a long line of garbage. I think the last game from them I truly enjoyed was Morrowind. I don’t think New Vegas counts. Fallout 4 was depressing being so close to good. Every moment in that game screams half baked. That quest where you help the robots out with their ship showed me just how possible it was to make the game good, but then it was the only good quests besides maybe the silver shroud one.

I’ll never understand how console peeps can justify paying for online access as a necessary thing.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

Plenty of key resellers sell licences for like 10 bucks

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

I’ve never known any different but it still always felt like paying twice to the Internet to me. My first console with online connection was an Xbox which required Live. Before that they just didn’t have any network connectivity at all.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

My parents never would have got me something like that just for one or two games.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

At least I can finally play the game without worrying that they are going to make improvements after I finish.

I expect all games to be bad by default now and don’t let myself get hyped up at all anymore. I waited on the edge of my seat since before the first teasers for CP2077 and still haven’t bothered to play it. I backed Star Citizen in 2013 lol… Was disappointed by Fallout 4 and 76 too, as a huge Fallout fan. I don’t remember the last game that legitimately lived up to my hopes and expectations. Fallout New Vegas I guess.

@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

Yeah, I played it on release. Been trying it again lately with mods and it seems much more polished. The writing quality is still a pretty big disappointment, and the yes/yes/yes/no chat system.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

Strange, that doesn’t work for me

snowbell,

I had this issue but refreshed the page and it has gone away since. I’m guessing that didn’t help for you?

IMO some people are way too sensitive about spoilers. Why should the entire world have to cater to their desire to not hear about a game? Taken to its extreme it means nobody ever gets to make casual covnersation about a video game. I always wonder whether most people actually care about this or it is just an extremely loud and angry minority. I only have two friends who care about spoilers.

I played it recently and it is still a clunky half broken mess with friends. Setting up three camps was a pain and the one quest we tried to do failed to spawn the final objective except for the party leader, and none of the rest of us were able to complete it.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

Wouldn’t it be more acceptable today?

Doing things in games because it simple felt good. angielski

I’ve been thinking about the PS1 game ‘Driver’ a lot recently. It’s a game I spent a lot of time on during my youth, and whilst I’m sure it doesn’t hold up some 20 years later, it was still a highlight from my ‘gaming youth’....

I really didn’t like Skyrim, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Fallout 4, or 76. Still playing Morrowind and New Vegas though. I could go on about why for a looooooooong time but really don’t care to. Suffice to say there are plenty of people (obviously) that are not happy with those games. I bought them all too so that would show up in sales data. Shame on me, I guess. I’ve been burned enough times that I’m not even going to bother being excited about this one.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

The context of this discussion is that the top post claimed that people only are shitting on starfield because “normies” like it so none of that is relevant. All I’m saying is that there are legitimate reasons to have low expectations. The people who like those games aren’t the same people complaining about Bethesda/Starfield, they are people like me who have been disillusioned with bethesda for years after a long series of disappointing releases. It is especially frustrating because we KNOW they can do better, because they have in the past. They just don’t. The amount of people who will end up loving Starfield has no bearing on my ability to enjoy the game.

With that said, I’d be plenty happy for this to end up being another Morrowind or New Vegas. Now I feel I’ve proved my point so I’m gonna go play some Morrowind. 😜

The Steam Deck is changing how normies think of gaming PCs.

Just thought I’d share something I thought was pretty interesting. I have a mother in law who is… well let’s just say she’s a stereotypical older mom who doesn’t own a computer, just an iPad. During the pandemic, she started getting into Nintendo games and bought herself a Switch. Fast forward a few years later and...

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

Since when has normies been an incel thing?

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

Since when is “normies” a problem?

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

I see, never heard of it used like that before.

snowbell,
@snowbell@beehaw.org avatar

I cant even right now with this thread. There is nothing wrong with “normie.”

snowbell,

How is it gross?

snowbell,

Fan Ports PlayStation Classic [WipeOut], Dares Sony To Shut Him Down And Make Its Own (kotaku.com)

WipeOut was Sony’s initial first-party exclusive for the original PlayStation when it launched back in 1995. The anti-gravity racing game was phenomenal. Now it’s abandoned. So one dedicated programmer took it upon himself to excavate the game’s leaked source code and make it playable for free in any web browser....

I miss this game. Gonna have to play before it gets shut down.
