Too bad the performances are not the biggest problem with that game
Sooooo boring, shitty interface, emotionless characters, the starting plot is dumb as f. I’m really happy to have taken the pass to test it, would have been a waste of money
Hey, I’ve got an idea for how to start our go-anywhere do-anything space exploration game! 8 hours of hand holding tutorial quests ought to be plenty of buildup, right? None of this exciting dragon attack starting sequence BS, let’s really bore the hell out of our players.
I’ve been watching a friend play and absolutely noticed that the romance stuff is a lot slower. everyone wanted to jump my wizard bones about 18 hours in, though it’s very easy to just not flirt with them. Meanwhile she’s 28 hours in and Shadowheart (who was trying to get me in bed with her in the first 10 hours of my play through) still hasn’t propositioned her.
Guess I missed out because 90 hours in and shadowheart just recently propositioned me despite us having a relationship for the last 80 hours lol. But Gale… I back out of him showing me a magic trick cuz it got too flirty, and now he thinks we boned.
That’s still way too many people for someone who crashes their country’s economy.
Anyway what’s the alternative not raise the prices? How’s that reasonable, the situation would just continue and they would continue to fall further and further behind on prices, behind the rest of the world, until eventually they decided isn’t worth offering the service in Turkey anymore.
Does he? By now his brain may be addled enough for him to believe that. The guy's been Todd Howard for decades now and that's really got to wear on a person's mind.
Considering Microsoft forcing a year QA on them with the full MS QA team… yea I imagine the partnership and exclusivity did indeed yield a much less buggy and thus better product.
I don’t think current Respawn could pull it off, Titanfall 2 was lightning in a bottle with them begging EA to not have any DLC and Apex plays like shit compared to it with a predatory battle pass.
Been playing apex since launch. I've bought a total of 3 battle passes with actual money, it's super easy to just continue buying the battle pass off of the previous pass rewards. I have no love for the battle pass market but the apex one isn't one I'd call predatory. Game is free, battle pass is purely cosmetics you aren't forced into in any way. Aside from persistent audio issues apex plays really well for me.
There’s a colossal difference between disliking the actions of a country’s politicians and describing a people as a “garbage culture with no morals”. And while “race” is a kind of wishy-washy term with no real definition, I think plenty of ethnic Turks would disagree.
Honestly, having know this I wouldn’t have bought D4 in the first place.
It was expensive as fuck for a game that I played a week at most, and got boring. Not saying the game isn’t great on some aspects. The story and graphics are amazing but… other than that it’s not that interesting late game.
Spending 60€+ on a game that has battle passes and an ingame shop on top of it, for them to add one expansion a year after, yearly? Wtf
It’s true what they say. Blizzard has gotten greed af.
This has probably been the last game I will ever buy from them. There are already Diablo 4 private servers, I think I’ll just wait until those catch up with those expansions…
(reposting from the D4 community since this community is larger and likely will have more discussion here)
To me, the late game is boring because it’s not as tactical as previous Diablo games. The view is so zoomed in and the enemies are so fast, numerous, and squishy that you basically just have to chew though the closest enemies. It’s not tactical or challenging. It’s either too easy or too hard and your skill doesn’t matter at all. I beat it once and don’t feel the urge to play it again.
I never thought about the camera but that could be one of the things that bothers me, now that I think about it…
I thought that with season 1 I’d be more hyped to play it, but it seemed so shite I couldn’t bring myself to playing it… And now, knowing that there’ll be expansions yearly, I don’t think I’ll ever bother lol.
Why’d you buy it so quick? It’s not a ride the wave game where you need full lobbies, it’s an arpg that should be durable and accessable for years to come.
You’re right. I didn’t even buy it pre order because I hate doing that and never will. So, after the game was launched, I watched some streams, the game seemed fun and no really big complaints anywhere. A couple of friends also bought the game, and told me it was fun.
And, to be honest, they weren’t wrong. The game WAS fun… Until you end the story and it’s just boring.
I played on both betas too and did enjoy the gameplay and such. Couldn’t wait for more of the story…
So that’s how I ended up buying it 1week or so after release.
Glad I’m not the only one who thought of this, fuck sakes people are too whiny these days. Ohes noes We have competition! SUE THEM FOR DOING WHAT WE STOLE!
I really love the game but optimisation and performance are a joke. I played it with 30fps on console and PC and it needs absurd amounts of power. Would it be even more worse with a multi release on PS5?
Yep, the linux driver issue is either crash on 535 or get a rock solid 26-31 FPS on 525 irrespective of settings with frame timings being so smooth you get a more pleasant experience chewing sand.
which is hilarious because the game plays better on a steam deck than on my 3080
games
