They were, but now you can play Majora’s Mask with dual analog camera controls and there are fewer errors because you aren’t emulating a 30ish year old system.
I believe Goemon is a pretty popular game in retro gaming circles. It comes up on many people’s “Top 10 N64” games or list of “hidden gems” on the console
I feel like there’s a lot of overlap between the people who are interested in the recompiled ROMs and the people who are involved in N64 discussions on the internet, haha
cloud is the future, I got steam-headless on my server and stream games on my phone during lunch breaks. With things like that xbox subscription being more common I think thats how it will go. you just pay a subscription and stream everything
You should try downloading RAM and SSD, after that you will have enough space for the VGA. My brazilian friend sent me this russian link to where i can download it
Look just hear me out. All you have to do is compress all your RAM into a .zip file, which is inside your RAM. After that, you can fit more stuff in your RAM. Then you can compress that again and again and again…
Right now, it’s sitting at #153 on steam charts. It’s still averaging some 6-7k players with peaks of 10k, so yes, people are playing. Less than half of what Skyrim is pulling and roughly half of what FO4 was pulling before the show premiered.
Oh boy, can’t wait for modders to dress it up as various star wars speeders. I’m looking forward to play all the star wars mods but i refuse to pay full price for that thing
this is the biggest disappointment to me. the game wasn’t good enough to justify all the crazy star wars mods that could have been. even lightsabers and speeders won’t make this into a good game unfortunately
He’s posted like 4 games, 3 of which are considerably old and cheap to get on sale. I assume this one is as well. I enjoy his content. Sorry if this is a just a joke
Edit: he’s posted quite a bit more than 4, but a majority of them are still older titles that are inexpensive
I fell in love with emulating last summer. My one complaint is that multi disc ps1 games ask for disc 2, and no matter how many tutorials i watch on YouTube, i just can’t get it to work…
I mostly use handheld emulators, so not sure about one’s experience on the computer. In my experience, RetroArch makes it easy enough to swap discs. It’s not obvious how without instructions, but once you find those online it’s not hard to do. Try RetroArch if you have not yet done so.
I am on retroarch. Did all the steps to put the discs into a single folder. And reading your comment has made me realize i forgot to eject, and load. I’m a major dumb…
