As my comment above, publishers would quickly make “Super Milky Gacha game for Casuals - Classic edition!” and all would go messy even more than current mobile gaming market. Wish I could be wrong on this one, but I can’t see this working.
Coz it’s bit utopian, unrealistic request. Also The Sims would fall in every category.

He may break even if his content generates enough income. I almost applaud him for the effort, because publishers aren’t going to be straightforward with the amount you’d need to spend for a completionist. This is probably the only way to shed light on the problem, even if that wasn’t his intent.
Epic denied my refund request for this game because I had just barely over 2 hours of play time, but accepted the request of my friend I bought it with. I’ll never buy anything from them again. I should’ve known not to buy from them.
Really boring game overall. Wouldn’t recommend for full price. Maybe like $20-30.
The first one was so poorly made that I didn’t bother with the second. They spent far more time designing zombies in bikinis than they did on movement and hit detection that I wouldn’t advise anyone spending ANY money on it. I can’t imagine being that thirsty. It was so bad that unless rockstar made the sequel, I wouldn’t buy it.
I got it for free on Epic. I launched it and something wasn’t working right, and tried a few different Proton versions. Then it just would launch because Denuvo thought it was different systems. I thought I’d come back later and try it, once that wore off, but I never did and probably never will, so the game wasn’t even worth trying it for free for me. Lol. Maybe I’ll try it some day, but I doubt it.
Conspiracy Theory: All that hubbub about an $80 base price was just to deflect from the fact that most sales are likely going to be funneled to the $100/130 editions…
It would be yet another spit in the face, if they released a 80$ base game, with the typical 2 season passes, totaling almost 300$ in dlcs of questionable quality. But I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything, because it’s 2K and Gearbox we’re talking about
To be fair, The Pre-Sequel was made by different studio entirely, but I agree that the Borderlands 3 story was utter crap. It was so bad that I couldn’t bear to keep playing, despite how I felt about the gameplay (which I honestly don’t remember at this point).
I’m playing through BL3 right now, and the game feel is fantastic. The story isn’t great, but after 5 hours, it still hasn’t hit a point where it’s so off-putting that I’d consider putting the game down. Pre-Sequel’s story did really bother me, but even then, the level design and bosses still made it worth seeing.
Don’t bemoan this just yet. Ubisoft’s name on the game is a red flag as always, but they made a pretty sick turn-based tactics game in the Ghost Recon universe on the 3DS, from designer Julian Gollup, formerly of original XCOM fame, now working on a game called Chip 'n Clawz vs. the Brainioids.
Besides, I don’t want a single player Rainbow Six. I want a Rainbow Six that’s either single player or co-op, with a proper planning phase. I’m about halfway there with the Door Kickers games.
Thai article reminded me to buy (and hopefully beat) KCD before KCDII comes out in Feb 2025.
On the Xbox store, the DLC bundle (no game) was normally $20, but 75% off so it was only $5. The game+DLC bundle was normally $40, but it was 90% off so it was only $4. Easy choice, even if I already had the game and no DLC
It’s such a great game. I will say though, the woman’s lot DLC that gets started when you ask Theresa about the story is a bit of a slog… it’s an alright story but I’d definitely make a save before starting it if you’re not a fan of its flow and tediousness lol
If they really have been working on this for the past 4 years like they say, I wouldn’t go as far as to say it will live up to the trailer and hype but it’s still a unique idea that hasn’t been done to death so unless they sell out or really fuck up, I think it will still be a good game.
If this wasn’t an indie game it would have no chance. An AAA studio or publisher would never risk pursuing a new idea like this in the first place though
I play casually on coop servers from time to time (at level 250 or something, although it’s nice that levels are meaningless in that game). I mostly see it as a fun and not too serious shooter that’s good for a quick game.
