Good. I hope it is longer than that. Fragmenting the platform will do no one any good at this stage in its life, and its performance is completely adequate for what it is.
Disc drive consoles are great for people who go months with terrible or no internet. People in the military, or just about anyone who goes out to sea can get a disc mailed to them. It is nice to have physical media to play the games off of.
I saw the trailer for that game and laughed my ass off, i legit thought it was a horizon DLC and when I realized it wasn’t, I couldn’t get past the obvious fact that it’s a straight ripoff that barely changed anything
Uhh the game looks awesome from what the trailer shows. I want to play it, and I’m already hyped for it. The combat also looks better than what it was in Horizon 1.
I honestly don’t care if they just copy games like this. I’m too tired of awesome concepts & IPs being completely misused & wasted by game publishers.
I’m hoping Tencent wins this one, because I wanna play the game. If they do win, I bet “Monster Hunter x Horizon + conventionally attractive characters” would sell like hotcakes.
Very nice of them to add hall effect triggers for improved longevity so that you can trash it even sooner than the Pro 2 once the non-replaceable battery dies out.
Are you talking about the battery in the Pro 2? My understanding is they use TMR sticks that use less battery. And even if/when the battery dies I’ve been having no issues using it wired.
The Pro 2 was notable for having an easily replaceable battery pack which was also compatible with standard AA batteries, and now the Pro 3 will be removing this feature in favor of an internal battery. I was implying that although the Pro 3 includes a new hall effect sensor for the triggers which would marginally increase its lifespan, the Pro 3 will likely need to be thrown away sooner than a Pro 2 because of its new irreplaceable battery design.
I have 1 of their controller, the Pro 2, and I never had issues with the battery, and will never have issues with the battery, because it takes standard rechargeable AA batteries. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the Pro 3.
Anthem will also be removed from the EA Play playlist on August 15, 2025, and EA says that the sunsetting of the game has not led to any layoffs at developer BioWare.
Is there anyone left at BioWare? What the two people who just turn on the lights every day? After DragonAge they kneejerk let everyone go rather than reflect on anything and then patted each other on the back for being such great managers.
I like Paleo Pines myself. It’s like Stardew and Animal Crossing had a baby about dinosaurs. It’s absolutely adorable.
Chao Resort Island. A fan game that’s basically a 2D/3D Chao Garden from SA2. It uses some sprites from the old Sonic Advance games, but it’s just a fun little virtual caregiver thing.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Chao Garden. The “true” Chao Garden experience according to fans online. I have the steam version so I have the popular Extended Chao World mods to make it better/easier to raise Chao.
A lot of survival crafting games (base building and decorating and such) can be cozy too, if you want them to be.
G.R.I.S is short and not replayable but it’s beatiful and deep from start to end. Cried a few times during the playthrough and felt relieved afterwards :)
