What do you mean fighting Linux compatibility? I’m genuinely wondering.
I game exclusively on Linux and have had zero compatibility issues with games (I can’t play battlefield 6 or Riot games, but that’s it). Is it that you exclusively want to play battlefield?
All other games run smoothly with periodic updates to proton-ge, which can then be selected from the steam compatibility options. It’s like 2-3 clicks and it’s all via gui.
I also have a rather large game library… It’s not like I’m playing 1 game…
Edit: I understand that change is hard, and I’ll take the down votes, but I haven’t gotten an answer. If it’s that you only play games with kernel level security that requires windows, totally valid - rock on brother. If it’s that you only play games that are exclusive to PS5, Xbox, or Nintendo - you do you, my friend. I’m just trying to understand the broad generalization that compatibility on Linux is the primary issue.
Love the PSP! Grew up with it and loved the more mature titles available compared to Nintendo’s handheld game library. A couple years ago I purchased a faulty PSP for dirt cheap and replaced the display, shell, and UMD drive. Unfortunately the clear analog stick I purchased is quite rubbish and needs to be replaced, but I haven’t gotten around to it.
But yes, the aftermarket replacement shells are often quite good (or, equally often not good at all - they’re a gamble whether they’ll be a nice one or not!) But the sticks are known to be bad. People tend to stick with original sticks, from what I recall.
Though your effort looks amazing, I love the transparent shell!

The shell I got was mediocre. It all comes together, but there are definitely some weird gaps and bad tolerances. I had to trim down some plastic to get everything to line up half-decently.

I have played it a lot in the past. Used to log in again with every new update. But for some reason I haven’t touched it since late 2023. Just got a little busy with reading and other games. Though to be honest I can’t seem to work up the motivation to start it up again and I don’t really know why.
It has come such a long way since launch and I can only commend them for staying active for so long. The regular updates and expansions for a game that has no micro-transactions… it’s awesome. I would recommend at least trying it to anyone who’s even a tiny bit curious. Wait until it’s on sale and you can’t really go wrong.
Perhaps I will give it another go in the future. I can see I’ve missed a lot of new features.
It was apparently my top played game on PS5 this year because earlier in the year I got really into playing it while listening to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
I liked it but wish it had better multiplayer. My friends kept dropping out of the party and there wasn’t much to do as part of a small group other than to collect corvette parts to make bigger (or smaller) outrageous ships.
Could be tempted to do the massive week long runs but… I just got back into BG3.
100% 💪😤 I play on the Switch 2, I’ve been loving it. I took a break for a bit so I can vibe with other games for a bit until I can figure out if I should start playing multiplayer or finish my quests with my base.
I also decided to give Final Fantasy VII Rebirth another chance, this time going only for the story. It’s a much better game this way even if it still feels a bit bloated. It does feel wrong tho to just ignore most of the map, even if I know it’s empty.
I was trying to finish the post Endwalker quests in Final Fantasy XIV to get to Dawntrail, but I’m not really feeling it. I’m probably burnt out on the game due to playing it for 500 hours last year.
