Deep Down Dungeons, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VII, Quest of Dungeons and Tyrant’s Blessing are turb-based RPGs, and Tyrant’s Blessing specifically is a tactical RPG.
On the Steam Deck, it was playable, but I couldn’t find settings that looked good and were visually clear, so I finally got around to setting up Sunshine and Moonlight (in-house streaming) and it’s amaze balls.
I’m using a script that switches my desktop to a virtual monitor that’s the Steam Deck’s native resolution, and I recently upgraded my house to a WiFi 6 mesh network, so it’s working almost flawlessly. (I often get crashes on startup, but it’s never taken more than 3 tries, then no issues.)
I’m still only in act 1 (limited playtime) but I’m so excited to be playing PoE again, and PoE2 is perfect for playing with a controller.
I went with Trian -> Fremmy -> Kourend and all on range>melee. For relics harpoon, dodgy deals, clue compass, golden god, slayer master, bankers note, overgrown and last stand.
Have had a blast powering through echo bosses and cox, and had couple attempts in Inferno for the first time. 3 wipes on Zuk now haha.
Otherwise I’m happy with the choices, but honestly not sold on Tirannwan. Sure there’s ton of easy tasks and crystal+BofA, but 1 for going very dry on BofA and the fact that it’s losing in DPS for both blowpipe and tbow everything I do I kinda wish I took Varlamore instead
My plan was VTM Melee but my second region will be Moritanya just to get the barrows lifesteal build running. I am playing mobile a lot while travelling which makes combat harder so I want an easy setup.
Got the foraging pouch instead of dodgy deals but everything else is the same. Currently still leveling slayer to get my combat mysteries.
I started Alan Wake 2, and man, I forgot how terrifying and fun it is. I'm having a blast. And since the last time I played, they added photo mode! I'm particularly proud of this shot of Mirror Peak. But idk if it's just me, but after having fairly recently played the first Alan Wake, this game feels like there's a lot less enemies? Especially when walking through the woods. Like a couple will pop up here and there, but a lot of the walking from one place to another is just... walking. Maybe I should have bumped the difficulty up to Hard lol. I've also already gotten through two of the Night Springs episodes, since they added them in game, which I thought was pretty cool. I'm really excited to get to the Lake House expansion.
