Sony is facing a $7.9 billion lawsuit that could impact over 9 million players. They’ve been accused of deleting purchased movies, TV shows, and games—items customers thought they owned forever....
Do we need to wake up to that? Or do we need to say that’s bullshit? Which one sounds better? Maybe companies need to wake up to the fact that they shouldn’t be able to do anything they want. Why can’t we wake up to that reality?

Valve Corporation, tired of paying arbitration fees, has removed a mandatory arbitration clause from Steam’s subscriber agreement. Valve told gamers in yesterday’s update that they must sue the company in order to resolve disputes....
Man anyone saying this is a bad thing has never been through arbitration before. It’s basically a room full of lawyers getting paid to waste your time and money just to fuck you over later. Course as I type that it kind of sounds like all lawyers…
I’ve heard that, and it’s reasonable however I found the level design in the first one could be a little repetitive as well so I thought some of the criticism was somewhat unwarranted.
I recently started a game of Pirates! When I sat down to play today, the pirates were no longer the only ones spicing up their speech with arrs and ahoys. The merchants were doing it. The military were doing it. The nobles were doing it (awkwardly). The barmaids were doing it. Even the user interface was doing it....
I’ll remember that with my kids asked me to take them to go see it. I’m sorry kids some writer on some website said that I wasn’t allowed to see this movie so you can’t either. Cuz you know you don’t have jobs or money or anything. I have all that so y’all are out of luck.
Well I’ll give you this, you’re really covering your bases. I didn’t know there were this many gaming communities. Basically my entire front page is you posting this.
I recently booted up Half-Life 2 to replay it. I have played the absolute shit out of this game before, so 60% of it just feels like a drag to me now. It was such an amazing game but it’s sort of spoiled for me after I’ve played it too much....
Reviews are one of the only weapons and Outlets that consumers have anymore. Especially a dire need because game journalism is so incredibly incredibly corrupt and inept. So the bitchy tone of this article certainly does track.
Really? Cuz I’ve had multiple issues since the patch. Crashes seem pretty much the same pre and post patch, but I’m having way more issues with freezes on loads and fast travel.
I wonder how many of those critically acclaimed reviews are going to be Rewritten. Certainly you’d have to be a completely lacking Integrity not to realize you were Bamboozled when you’re giving a different product than the public is to review.
Holy shit, I read some of the other day that there was a bunch of garbage microtransactions but I had no idea it was this bad. And you can’t edit your characters without paying $2? What the fuck?
Oh he did. I’m just saying that a lot of the audio they are re-recording doesn’t need to be re-recorded. They can just use his old audio. For some reason they don’t want to do that though I don’t know why.
