maybe they set the AI to the number of meetings that actually should be happening, but they forgot that the whole of games media is now like 8 people? Very much like a project manager to forget that the CEO just completed a massive downsizing effort.
… I’m not blind, right? She has her panties on display? That absolutely falls under “suggestive” imo.
Comparing being asked to tone down your marketing materials for an all ages game to censorship of explicitly nsfw games is also kinda scummy. You aren’t having your livelihood threatened by this.
Honestly I'm 100% on Team Steam as far as this screenshot, for the record. I just thought the story was interesting. Her shirt has a big hole for her boobs to come 80% of the way out through, and the game has sex bots in it, among other issues. I feel like this is a likely-successful attempt to garner more publicity for the game.
Yeah, my phone screen is cracked and I’m holding it together with scotch tape, so there’s a slight blur. With it scaled down in this lemmy post, at a glance the yellow shade is indistinct enough that it almost looks like she’s nude and holding like a yellow posterboard in her left hand to cover up.
All my kid’s friends are on it so I feel bad not allowing them to use it, but there’s no way to set it up that doesn’t allow them to access these horrible experiences without also blocking access to pretty much every normal experience.
The devs are allowed to set their own maturity level so this experience probably has the same maturity as Grow a Garden.
So I have to just constantly monitor it and manually block inappropriate stuff, but there’s a limit of 200 for blocking which I’ve already hit. It’s the worst.

Yep, this is an old problem with Denuvo, new proton version looks like a new system. I guess if the containerization is perfect, Denuvo won’t be able to solve this and retain the same functionality.
Same. At a minimum, I remember having to d/l no-CD cracks to get around the annoying and totally unnecessary disc DRM (that required you to insert the disc, just to prove you had it).
While the CD checks are absolutely annoying, nothing, and I mean nothing, was more inconvenient than having to go to a certain page and a certain line and a certain word in the manual to unlock a program you paid for. Fucking infuriating.
Shuddderr. I remember the first time I saw a game do that, I thought oh what a fun little game I guess it’s to get me to use the manual… like some kind of ARG, but when I realized the real purpose all the joy was sucked out of it.
