Perfect Dark revolutionized the multi-player experience, and had an equally awesome campaign. The 360 game was good, but nothing amazing. Really hoping this turns out to be amazing. I have faith that it will!

Perfect Dark introduced bots and a host of other customizable options that Golden Eye did not have. Golden Eye created the framework, and Perfect Dark improved on it in every possible way.
Why even bring up Bethesda? Obsidian made one game for them for a development cycle of 18 months. It’s weird to use their new game as an opportunity to claim Bethesda couldn’t make a game like this.
Eh, I thought I was being funny, my attempt failed. I was poking fun at Bethesda because they’ve put games that were either bland or watered down like Skyrim, Fallout 4, Starfield for example. Avowed feels fresh and interesting to me, I’m excited about visiting the Living Lands and experiencing that story.
Don’t get me wrong they have made some real watered down-ass rpgs (i have never been more hyped than i was for fallout 4 and was massively let down lololol) but it just seemed like a weird place to bring it up.
The Extended Edition was like the HD Edition of Age of Empires 2 (now called “Age of Empires II (2013)” on Steam). This is more like the Definitive Edition. Significant graphics improvements (as opposed to just taking the existing graphics and upscaling them), as well as new content and probably QoL improvements.
Yeah it seems like a remaster. Or more specifically via a re-implementation as a sort-of official mod for Age of Empires 3 (thanks for the correction) I imagine, and judging from the graphics.
There is absolutely nothing appealing about this to me. If I was at all interested in this 2 hour cutscene I’d just go watch a Fast and Furious movie for 10% of the price
I’d venture to say that ID has not yet released a bad DOOM game, however they did almost make Call of DOOM. Under Microsoft’s leadership I’d say they’re at risk of making the worst DOOM game ever, but we’ll have to wait and see
I knew a new Life is Strange was coming from Deck Nine, but I wasn’t expecting a Max sequel. So that’s exciting, even if the recent news about the studio was quite ugly.
Ah yeah I remember that. Did we ever hear whether it was actually one dev and they caught them and got rid of them, or whether that was the cover story?
Haven’t seen any follow-up, but if I’m being honest, what Square Enix Europe did bothers me just as much as the dev. That’s gotta be systemic over there.
This isn’t Dontnod doing this, but Deck Nine (Dontnod no longer owns the rights to the LiS name). So after how well True Colors worked, no, I don’t think it’s that. Was my first thought too though. 😅
