I don’t get why they write an article and then play a Mario kart ad over half my screen. I’m not clicking to close their ads I’m clicking back to leave the site.
Just wanted to know if the lead designers, project managers, etc. were being fired or if it’s just the people who carry out their visions being axed. I can guess the answer though.
No info on that, but apparently firing over a 100 people (out of 300 or so people)
One person, who asked to remain anonymous in order to protect their career, told IGN there’s no word yet on exactly how many staff are affected, but the standard 45-day consultation process starts today, June 23, which according to UK law is triggered when an employer proposes 100 or more redundancies within a 90-day period. IGN understands Build A Rocket Boy currently has around 300 UK employees, with around 200 abroad.
They only implemented those in bedrock edition, available in the MS store… I’d rather they add it into Java edition so us Linux gamers can use them, and not tie them exclusively with NVidia
Mega Blocks already have this covered. I’m curious to know what major differences there’d be to justify the inevitably high cost of the Lego branded versions
I’m currently working on the Charmander with my daughter. The quality feels fine, but I’ll definitely be curious to try out a lego one when it releases
It only took 25 years. I’m not even a pokemon fan but I’m curious what their sets would look like. I have been tempted by a couple of the Mega Bloks sets though, and I even got one of the mystery pokeball sets and ended up getting Bulbasaur.
Man it’s weird how things happen. I was literally just listening to Bo Burnhams “funny feeling” this morning and he has a line about “Robert (Bob) Igers face” and I thought hmm I actually don’t get that, I don’t know who he is. Then I open Lemmy and see this lol
I think it’s cause of envy. Every once in a while, a game comes that just seems to do a lot of things and become very very successful (like red dead and gta).
Then these other studios get FOMO and turn to a go big or go home attitude.
So what you end up with is this inflation of features when only a few devs can land a big game like that.
