Lots of people just hate it (because blizzard or microtransactions or whatever) and can’t understand that people like different things. Ignore the numbers, you got some decent discussion!
AV8s are pretty old. The US retired them in the early 2000s. NATOPs manuals explain how to fly the plane, like what button controls what. I’ve never been on the war thunder forums, but whatever argument that triggered this upload was probably over something really dumb. Like what button controls the windshield wipers or something.
I have been losing interest in Blue Prince. (This is spoiler free.) Many of the late game puzzles are beginning to feel grindy. I need to get specific rooms but it’s random chance if I do, and then when I get them it’s not guaranteed I’ll even know how to solve what’s going on. It’s been very enjoyable up until now but it’s lost some appeal in the end.
I have been playing a little Animal Crossing because my spouse got back into it. I have been playing a little Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Mario + Rabbids because I’ve been using my switch more.
I’m right there with ya on Blue Prince. The late game seems more like tricks than actual puzzles. That being said, it also makes it so I feel less bad about looking things up.
There was one puzzle I looked up the answer to and I was furious.
Office safe spoilerYou’re supposed to count the counts but there are four fucking statues?? Not three?? So why the fuck is the code 0303 and not 0304??
ResponseAhhhhhhh, okay. I retract my comment then, but that’s still stupid to me. I was missing a few letters and thought it said something like “GAINS”. I guess I got a few wrong on that row.
Oh, don’t retract it. It is a bad way to indicate the solution since it requires the Foyer and to have finished the grid message accurately. IMO anything that can be foiled by RNG is a bad way to do it.
I’ve had similar but they were all Raising Canes menu items with matching picture. Canes Tenders, Canes Crinkle Fries, Canes Toast, Canes Sauce, Canes Coleslaw.
Not looking promising for Remedy’s multiplayer debut. Seems like a standard co-op shooter ala L4D, but they jazzed it up with some Remedy flavor. Anyone that played this game that cares to share their opinion?
I’ve tried playing since release on PlayStation. Haven’t gotten a full squad and it seems impossible to solo on normal. I’ll be trying to lower the difficulty tonight.
And I know I’m only on the first map, a boiler room but so far it’s pretty boring. All three levels/chapters on this map have been the same just with more and more mobs to fight and more things to repair. I think there are some fun ideas. (Repairs with kit versus without being different for example). But the worst part is this map doesn’t feel like the oldest house at all. I’m hoping if I can make it to the next map I’ll start to see some inspired map designs or other players.
The PVP implementation is a dumpster fire that undermines everything the game (and source material) is supposed to be about. If they aren’t going to do lore-appropriate faction-based PVP, then they should just remove PVP entirely. It’s amazing how wrong they got that when everything else is so right.
Otherwise, the game is incredible. It’s tense, scary, satisfying, lore accurate, and never, ever dull.
Whoever did their UX and control design should be fucking shot.
In what world does a crafting game not close containers with the tab key? Why the fuck are some of the exit buttons clickable and some of them you HAVE to hit escape, why do I have to hold down E for SO fucking long to take everything from a container, why do I have child lock to get off my bike?
Using the building tools is fucking annoying and painful, god damn. It’s like they’ve never played a survival crafting game in their lives.
That’s amazing. How did you build the vertical space? I built about 300 observation towers into a lovely platform to ‘skydive’ from, and then my game lagged out. I have a really old comp, so it was expected, but still grumbling worthy. I couldn’t really get the hang of the vertical building without stacking and deleting platforms.
Thanks! I used walls to measure out the height each floor then built out the platforms, I used the jetpack and the hoverpack to be able to get the heignt required.
My pc is a fairly recent midrange so I haven’t had too many performance issues yet.
