Depends on the game really. If there is a need for fine precision be it movement, pointing or aiming an analog Stick can’t be beat (the latter even enhanced by gyro) if its a 2D game its gotta be a dpad.

Its a nice flashback to pretty much every mechanic of the original, from traffic blocks to rhythm blocks, keys and jump pads. Every major character is there as well, no Mr. Oshiro though, he’s probably still fixing the Hotel.

Currently, I play Alwa’s Awakening on the Evercade. Very cute and hard, at times, metroidvania.

Problem would be, that the Games you get via NSO are only available as long as you pay the subscription while on other devices the ROMs (or Virtual Console Titles) you put there stay and be accessible.

So yeah, I play my gba, n64, … via other devices or even physical.

Evercade - I’m a huge fan of the Evercade ecosystem and if a game is available there I will play it there first.

Heck yeah. The Evercade Library is so~ expansive, and the emulation is top-notch! Love that I can hook my Handheld to the VS as an additional controller, share the modules and savestates between the two consoles…

Basically one year after the game was said to be never updated again, this giant bug fix and balance update just drops without any warning. And this happens just as the Microsoft deal is finalized and Bobby is leaving Activision at the end of the year....
