I recommend playing the quest “The whispering Hillock” before persuing the Bloody Baron’s questline. It will make things slightly less depressing. Also, always support Ciri in her decisions and gather the whole crew before the siege of Kaer Morhen.
Played it and loved it. I know I should hold off and wait until it's complete before I play again, bit it's going to be tough not loading it up the second there's another update.
Whatever form is pulled from the ether into the material is what it shall be. Celebrate that you created something and release it anyway! People are clicking a banana on steam right now
The level design is fantastic. The original Mario Bros. 2 feels like a romhack of Mario 1 designed to troll you. It’s like the final boss of Mario games.
It’s fucking tedious, it’s win conditions are nearly impossible, and it’s controls suck. You have to collect phone pieces in a pit and then find and stand in an unmarked tile for an undeclared amount of time with no enemies on the screen to win and the win screen doesn’t even differentiate itself from the lose screen. Speedrun with no glitches is under a minute. It’s length of gameplay is purely designed on the fact that it’s just a badly made game.
Assetto Corsa because it’s a simracing sandbox. I’ve modded it to hell with Content Manager and CSP. I also have a lot of paid mods for mainly formula cars like the RSS Formula 1/2/3/4 cars and the VRC Formula E cars. The AI is the perfect level of silly to cause absolute mayhem with the right settings, but also pretty interesting races when you want them to behave.
Wreckfest is a joy on the Steam deck and for casual mayhem. It still has a nice driving model imo, while remaining casual. The maps are optimized for crashing into others which means you’re never safe.
Love it. I love that you went to Lemmy for tips. A side note, while I love it, I’m curious to see what it would look like with a bushy unibrow now that you’ve added the bushier mustache.
I had quite a bit of fun with it for a few weekends with my friends, but ultimately the lack of a system for mechanical progression left it feeling a bit shallow (ha!). As a primarily PvE game with light PvP it’s in a weird place where it doesn’t have quite enough RPG-like elements to hold my interest on the PvE side, or enough player-on-player combat to make it a gripping contest of skill.
It’s still a fun game to hop into from time to time, but it’s never been appointment gaming for me
