  • Gris - A beautiful platform puzzle game. A very emotional game, but one that makes you feel like you’re rebuilding something in yourself. Gorgeous art, amazing dynamic soundtrack.
  • Meadow - I don’t know how to describe this game. You log onto a server, pick a woodland animal as an avatar, and then you explore the world and meet other players. Your only means of communication is noises and emojis. It’s so simple, yet so fantastic.
  • Bokida - Heartfelt Reunion - A minimalist art puzzle game. I haven’t played it in a while, but I remember it being super immersive. I just had to finish it, to see how all of the pieces of the story fit together.

Suggestions? Games that won't make me feel alone?

I need some suggestions on what to play. Single Player games only. Most of the games make me feel lonely and alone. In most of the games, the protagonist has to deal with the problems on their own, like Control, Crysis, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War (I liked the original 6 more than the new ones, even though the new ones had...

I never finished this title, so I’m replaying it in preparation for the new sequel. I had forgotten how dang stunning this game is. It’s a handful of years old now, and on ultra settings, still looks better than most modern titles.

New Reno was a location in Fallout 2. IIRC, New Vegas didn’t exist in any of the isometric Fallout games.

I have a 600 PC game library. I also own nearly every mainstream console and handheld released since 1980, and quite a few lesser known ones. My house is pretty much a gaming museum.

And I’ve only played a sliver of the total amount of games available to me.

Solution is to not play modern AAA garbage. For the $40-50 pricetag, I could get a handful of great indie games off my wishlist. Games that won’t bat an eye at an aging GPU.
