Blasting through diablo 3 season 30 ssf hc. Great game to play and listening to podcasts.

LaserTurboShark69,

Playing Diablo 4 made me realize how solid of a game Diablo 3 became

MrGerrit,

D4 just needs new itemization 2.0, 2 or 3 dlc’s and about +25 seasons for it to be up to standard.

I’m just being bitter, I will try it out again when I’m done with D3. I’m just so frustrated that all the things we’ve been asking/begging for diablo 3, they took almost nothing from it to D4…

Are there many people still playing D3? I learned from your post that they were still doing seasons fom it, I assumed they would drop everything after D4 launched.

MrGerrit,

They will keep on doing seasons but without adding new things, just fixes and balancing i guess. Season 30 now has the altar and evil shards in it and they are now permanent in the game.

Rewards will be repeats from previous seasons, so if you ever missed some, this is the way to still get them.

People are still playing it but just like with the later seasons, many have or will stop playing after about 3 to 4 weeks tops. I thinks most just do the season journey that, if you want, complete in a weekend.

Shattered Pixel Dungeon.

It’s like the only phone game that’s got integrity, can be put down at a moment’s notice, doesn’t rely on good controls, and is good.

My friends finally got me to play Fortnite a few weeks ago.

I’m in too deep.

I’m level 157…

Caught up on all the Vampire Survivors content that got released since I last played, now I’m finishing up GRID (2019) and Spiral Knights, with a race or two of Mario Kart.

I’ve been replaying Loop Hero on the Deck. I never finished it the first time but now I can do a few loops before bed.

Other than that I’ve also been playing a heavily modded Project Zomboid. Working on building a base to fend off enemy bandit NPCs and zombies. Having to fight something that can shoot back at you has given the game new life.

Chee_Koala,

Post some screenshots of your base over on the zomboid Lemmy community!

Ashtear,

I had a good time with Loop Hero for a while, a few months after it came out. Ultimately stopped running it because it felt like I was never able to pivot mid-run if I found a great drop. Had a “what’s the point of the randomness then?” thought after that and it broke the spell for me. Don’t know if they ever made any changes along those lines.

I’ve been playing Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and I’m in love. This feels like a perfect bridge between Yakuza 6 and Like a Dragon. The play styles for fighting feel really clean and are actually fun, compared to some of the fight styles in earlier games.

Can we host a server?

torvusbogpod,

Yeah my friend and I had a dedicated server for a while. Super easy. They even have a Linux binary.

SidewaysHighways,

Awesome!

I’m just dipping my toes in this stuff. It’s a whole new world out here!

Controllers look like this when they first emerge from the cocoon. They typically harden and gain their distinctive colors after a few hours.

Still Baldur’s Gate 3. I don’t know if I commented last week but I finished my first play through (chaotic neutral). Was really fun and already started 2 other runs 👀, one githyanki run with custom Tav, Lae’zel and the gith hireling and a lawful good run with my half-orc monk oc.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I've been meaning to get to it for a while. Still early on in the game when it's still introducing new mechanics, but I'm enjoying it so far. I was kind of skeptical if I'd enjoy a turn-based RPG Yakuza game as much as I'd enjoyed the previous ones, but the combat is winning me over. Being able to summon a flock of pigeons to peck enemies unconsciously certainly helped.

H_Interlinked,

I’m 20+ hrs into it. The silliness just keeps ramping up, especially now that I’m collecting “Pound Mates”.

Been trying to get into final fantasy XIV because of a friend. Kind of fun and I like that I can customize the HUD and the control scheme between the in-game systems and the steam deck controls. I feel like I’ve tried MMOs in the past and didn’t enjoy them, but this one seems all right.

quilan,

I still contend that the climax of Shadowbringers is one of my favourite and most meaningful gaming experiences. Enjoy the ride!

Aku,

Completely agree. I absolutely loved Shadowbringers. IMO it’s the best story SE has put out in years.

Don_alForno,

I wish I could forget it and experience it for the first time again.

I am loving the new Prince of Persia game. About half way through and every minute has been great. Honestly enjoying it more than Metroid Dread or Hollow Knight. Movement and combat are both so crisp. Strong recommend for any fans of metroidvania type games.
