I believe it’s full coop. Not like from soft games. Seems to be a kinda 3 player roguelite thing. 3 players get random builds and weapons and make their way to a spot where a circle is closing in to fight a big boss together. Not a live service. Full game for one price
The builds won’t be random but pre set characters with special abilities and Ultimates. They each play quite different. You’ll also find weapons and can put 3 in each hand as per usual but you don’t have to worry about weight
probably the only thing that’ll bring me back to professional game dev. especially cool to see after how brutal of a year it’s been for the industry. hope this works out for them!!
I would imagine, shitheads at a huge company excited they can hoard even more money?
Sounds about right.
Is also like how nobody ever mentions anything but from software.
Like this isn’t a gigantic conglomerate basically owning the Japanese anime industry.
I’m not jesting, I know they will do it. Bloodborne is a literal goldmine. They could’ve ported to PC and swam in money. By now it’s probably too late to do that, most of the hype went away. But a Bloodborne 2? Yah.
Better title: Kadokawa employees are reportedly “optimistic” about the takeover. Subtitle: Kadokawa owns FromSoftware
Kadokawa suffered a ransomware cyberattack earlier this year, but employees were left disappointed by the response from current president and CEO Takeshi Natsuno.
As a result, employees are said to be “thrilled at the prospect of an acquisition by Sony”, according to a new report from Japanese outlet Bunshun (via Automaton).
HAAHAHAHA, Oh The Onion, you guys are… It’s not The Onion… (for anyone that doesn’t get it, PSN has been hacked a couple of times)
Anyway, the “thrill” comes from the expectation that the current Kadokawa leadership will get the boot from the acquisition.
