The plush stands firmly at 10 ¼ inch length and 4 ¾ inches wide, which is quite a bit below average for your standard Wiglett. It’s held up by a large, sack-like base. Its long, pale shaft will no doubt delight company when you display it for all to see. The store page notes that its body is bendable, so it should stay rigid and erect as you pose it into different configurations. Meanwhile, its soft body invites you to take it into bed with you so you can spend all night together.
I’m disappointed, but not surprised… I have followed since the first announcement and gave up hope around 2020. Every dev update was “we made 1 step forward and 5 back” with no real substance to show for it.
Assuming the trailers are real gameplay though, it looks like they could have and should have released an alpha years ago. Not sure how they thought it wouldn’t work as Minecraft released in pre-alpha and it worked out in the end. A shame we’ll probably never see the code or even a compiled build from all these people’s work.
505 is one of the weirdest publishers to me, and probably the publisher I have played the most games from if I don’t include series with tons of games in them. Payday 2, Journey to the Savage Planet, Terraria, Backbreaker, Don’t Starve, Sniper Elite V2, How to Survive, Rocket league, Brothers. I can’t think of another publisher who has put out that many big games from different IPs.
What’s silly is when they immediately know you’ve stolen something, even though nobody was around when you took it. You shouldn’t have to sneak if there’s nobody there.
I just can’t help but think how the Unity Engine is a phenomenal product. Maybe our systems don’t work as well as we think they do if this company is foaming at the mouth because the metric says its bad. I used Unity for five years, its great, it didn’t need to change, but green line needed to go up.
