You can best the dungeons in a single run if you set up right. It’s tough in the beginning but I’d you want to do everything you have to minimize the number of days you right in the dungeon.
Agreed 1000%. That game is phenomenal. It has made me laugh so hard I ended up crying, well and sometimes I was just crying. An emotional roller coaster, superb writing.
My husband was playing it and I thought the game looked terrible, but he kept saying I really should play it, and I can’t put into words how fucking happy I am that I chose to try it. Can’t believe I almost missed out on it. Truly a masterpiece.
Hidden Through Time 2 and Monument Valley 2. Just small games where I liked the first game, I‘m still far from done with my Xmas purchases so no need to go harder for me.
So I have been getting bored of Minecraft but felt like having a twist on my own new single player survival world.
So last week I started out in Minecraft 1.5.2, which was the version I started playing on, and I intend to slowly upgrade the world, along the way collecting mobs, blocks, items and world generation not possible in later versions (dubbed Discontinued Items).
My latest endeavour was actually switching to the 2013 April Fools version, Minecraft 2.0, and obtaining things like enchanted signs, creating setups for floating blocks (ladders, torches, floating sand/gravel, etc.), things that will survive the upgrade to 1.6.
Jedi Fallen Order! It’s a great game and only like £3.50 in the sale. Might also pick up Kingdom Come Deliverance and Mafia Definitive Edition since they’re both under £10
Personally, I’d say it’s a fair price at £3.50, but not worth more than that. Fallen Order should’ve been called “climbing simulator” instead, as that’s what you spend half of the game doing.
I honestly really enjoyed it but maybe I had the difficulty set hard enough that I was instead spending most of my time fighting. Tbf I also enjoyed the tomb raider trilogy which was mostly climbing puzzles
Against the Storm - I find the loop of those first 30-40 minutes of city building very satisfying.
Ultimate General Series - I love the land battles, it scratches that gun powder Total War itch.
Mount & Blade Series - Playing the Viking Conquest expansion while watching or listening to the Last Kingdom (Saxon Stories) might be one of my favourite gaming memories.
Sea of Stars - Reminds me of Golden Sun. And the soundtrack is just fantastic.
Nintendo announces all online functionality will cease for 3ds and Wii U titles in early April (specifically April 8th 2024)
Oh shit, I didn’t realise this deadline was so close! Should I be firing Mario Maker up now and downloading every level I can while I have the chance? Though I think I stopped playing it when I realised most of the levels were just words being spelled out in blocks with no actual gameplay…
It’s one of the simplest games possible, the controls are “clockwise” and “counterclockwise”, and there are no distracting characters, setting, or story.
And yet the easiest level is – quite accurately – labeled as difficulty “Hard”. The next 5 levels (6 total) go way up in difficulty (and labelling) from there.
Each level lasts 60 seconds. If you can survive that long. I’ve never unlocked the final level myself, so I don’t even know what it is like, but I can guess.
