Favourite: Steam Deck, hands down. It has totally revolutionised the way I play games. I very often choose to play games on my deck instead of on my far more powerful pc.
Least favourite: Smartphone. The closest I’ve come to having an enjoyable traditional gaming experience on a smartphone was Sky: Children of the Light but even then I was constantly getting frustrated with the touchscreen controls and dealing with my phone getting as hot as the surface of the sun. Its also just not a comfortable shape to hold while you game.
Morrowind is hands down the best elder scrolls. If you want a TRUE sandbox where you can do whatever the hell you want, that’s your game. Some issues include graphics, no quest markers (you have to read the quests and follow directions), the leveling system is not intuitive at all, and combat is heavily stats based.
Upsides are you can craft any spell or enchanted item using any spell effects you know. Ring of permanent invisibility. Spell of lock every door within 50 feet. Summon 3 different daedra at once. Conjure a whole set of bound armor. Explode yourself in fire. Literally anything.
The elder scrolls renewal project is working on recreating morrowind with skyrims engine and I really hope it comes out soon.
Not really, SMITE is a moba that happens to be 3rd person, Deadlock actually plays like a 3rd person shooter that needs proper aiming and headshots and a much faster pace.
I see. This is probably a pretty niche reference nowadays, but is it more similar to Monday Night Combat? That was an actual shooter IIRC and had mobs mechanics like lanes and creeps.
Good, cause I played the Smite 2 alpha and it was kinda garbage. I literally said out loud “this is like Dota for babies”. It didn’t even have good FPS mechanics to make up for no depth.
It's actually closer to Battleborn. Like the other commenter said, it's more of a third person shooter with MOBA elements. There's focus on movement (you can dash, double jump, crouch slide, some characters fly), headshots and distance change the damage and melee/parry are just a button, while every character has guns as their man attack means. For the moba elements, it changes a bit since there's 4 lanes and it's a 6x6.
Just keep searching for TF2 community servers, not all of them will be that toxic. Some really don’t care about anything, as long as you don’t mic spam or grief. There are some furry ones that will definitely be LGBT friendly, if you don’t mind that.
even if the servers are queer friendly, I haven’t found one yet that doesn’t allow things like ableist language. They only feel marginally better with the tradeoff of smaller games
