I played inside. The story was interesting but the gameplay was so tedious compared to limbo that I almost quit. I did quit years ago. I had 45 minutes on the game when I started and restarted. It honestly was a bit of a grind. The ending gameplay felt liberating though.

Also I been playing uncharted 4: the lost legacy which has been kind of interesting. I feel like it’s an attempt on the tomb raider puzzles which ends up being far better than trying raider itself. I also really love the grounded story that’s teaching history and culture.

I also have downloaded ctrl alt ego and gloomwood.

acastcandream,

Those underwater scenes in Inside created a sense of awe and dread I haven’t felt in years tbh

MJBrune,

They felt open but I went exploring and kept hitting walls so my playstyle kind of ruined that feeling.

What type of media were you pirating?

BrandoCalrissian9229,

movie and tv streaming and sports. I wonder if it wasn’t one of the sports sites as it was a sports betting pop up, but the susflix was the only site that seemed to have anything bad according to the virustotal site.

sickomogusflix should have seen that coming ngl.

BrandoCalrissian9229,

probably but it was on the FMHY wiki with a star, so idk. Kinda weird that one of the best and most trusted pirated resources would have a malware site listed as one of the best options

The methods really depends on which firmware version you have. Some are permanent, some are not. The one I’m using now for 9.0.0 is basically just:

  1. Load up cached website with exploit
  2. Click go
  3. Insert a specially formatted usb stick
  4. Remove stick after it tells me At that point goldhen is installed and can run homebrew stuff.

Make sure you set up the internet connection to use a DNS which blocks the sony update servers.

I assume it creates some sort of save file in the current working directory?

You may try changing the working directory via batch script, if you’re on Windows.

Make a text file, name it something like launch.bat (the actual name may be whatever you want, just make sure you leave the extention .bat) Paste this there:

<span style="color:#323232;">@echo off
</span><span style="color:#323232;">cd /d "%~dp0"
</span><span style="color:#323232;">start "" "game.exe"
</span>

Be sure to replace game.exe with your game’s .exe filename. Don’t delete any double quotes, they are important.

Put this text file near .exe file of your game, and make a shortcut of it to your desktop. You may rename a shortcut and choose an icon from your game’s .exe file to make it pretty.

After that just launch the shortcut as you normally would. If I’m correct, the game should create it’s .bin file in the script directory and not in your desktop.

hunt4peas,

I’ll try this and let you know the outcome later.

I've been playing kenshi again. I start a new game every so often when i get the need.

However, I also installed baldurs gate 3 and i have only looked at the beginning. I am a fool though and I also pre ordered starfield. My next few weeks are going to be busy.

WWE 2007 smackdown vs raw! My custom character was as tall and buff as can be, had red skin, had the skill set of ray mysterio and loved hell in the cell matches.

sandriver,

How does the PSP version compare to the PS2 version? Play! doesn’t emulate it properly.

Not sure I played the ps2 version.

Are you using openvpn or wireguard? Figure out which, and then look up traffic splitting for that protocol, it’s a but involved but it can be done.

Leilys, do piracy w PlayStation 4

Currently jailbreak is possible if you have firmware 9.0.0 and below, to my understanding. You can look up videos, but most people recommend text guides as they are easier to update and keep current. For PS4 it matters less since nothing has changed since the current jailbreak released.

Crotaro, do gaming w What's a good game you played with an awful tutorial?

Does anyone remember Driver on the, I think, PS1? I mean the tutorial wasn’t awful because it’s irrelevant but because it’s notoriously difficult to beat.

bleezee,

I never got pass the tutorial, because i was too young to understand the tasks :D Played on my older brothers PS1 and gave up after an hour or so…

bleezee,

I never got pass the tutorial, because i was too young to understand the tasks 😂 . I just explored the parking lot for an hour and then gave up.

I didn’t find it difficult so much as frustrating when I would do what it asked, but it wouldn’t register until I did it like 10 times.

Elite Dangerous had a similar tutorial where you had to run through a checklist of things to complete it and move on to the main game. When I first got it back in beta, it was not optional and it also wasn’t clear on how to do some of the shit it asked you to do, forcing you to check the controls constantly. It’s an optional thing now, and there is also the option of running through the lift off check list every single time you launch your ship. Pointless and tedious, but adds some immersion.

Dwarf Fortress, for me. Even the graphical one on Steam, I needed to watch YouTube videos to really start digging in to it.

It’s awful because it’s non-existent.
