I can’t beat the goddamn black deck, I don’t know what’s wrong with me 😢
IMPORTANT UPDATE: I have managed to beat the black deck. Vagabond for a lot of death cards, shoot the moon to make those death cards queens, and an early triboulet led me to victory. I wish all fellow balatroers a pleasant evening and a lucky night
I’ve done it on the Magic Deck; I do think it has a lot of luck involved at the higher stakes, sadly, it could definitely do with a bit of balance or engineering to make each run possible (as Slay the Spire always seems).
Broooo, that black deck is harder than the next stakes on other decks, it’s insane! I need to try again though, it unlocks a new deck and I want them haha
Aye, funny seeing it as a jrpg. The downtime gameplay doesn’t really suit the rest of the game. Would have rather seen an XCOM setup with more cutscenes, but also I do love the Abbey itself that place is a dream home.
!Also my favorite team is probably blade, wolvie, morb. Itsa lotta bleed!<
It’s a really well done RPG in the spirit of the original Paper Mario games. Charming and fun to play. Got some depth to the build choices using a similar badge system as Paper Mario or even Hollow Knight.
I don’t know why Nintendo won’t just give us a proper Paper Mario again. What is their problem? It’s so annoying. Bug Fables was fantastic though definitely hard agree.
Started playing Styx: Master of Shadows last week. I’m not that far into yet, but I’ve really enjoyed the few missions I have played. I’m a big fan of stealth games and fantasy settings, so I’m not sure how I missed this one when it originally came out.
Edit: my group has people who have never played controller so I need something easy to pick up. I have tried overcooked but I guess there are too many buttons
I picked up King of Seas on sale just to have something silly to play. It’s a fun little thing, getting to roam around as a pirate and dodging the navy and main quest alike in pursuit of a fancier ship
Most games are great because they provide something unique or are polished to perfection, so it’s wild that they’ve made something that manages to be both their first attempt. Really looking forward to whatever they decide to do next.
I thought I didn’t like zombie games until I discovered Days Gone… it’s been really engrossing and has a wonderful plot, great characters and I don’t skip the dialogue, which is quite rare for me. It also looks stunning.
