Huge W. Maybe the Stop Killing Games campaign, combined with some very real market realities, will save more games like this from companies with the liberty to do so. Unfortunately, it sounds like multiplayer will likely still depend on Steam servers rather than supporting LAN (I’d be happy to be proven wrong), but this is way...
That’s just false, you’ll end up with Payday 2 where everything is so broken that enemies need to nearly insta kill you from any range to have an actual challenge.
It was VERY undercooked. As in unfinished UI, console prompts being pasted on top of m/k, no server search, broken matchmaking, lack of content, lack of build variety, no offline mode, terrible progression systems.
Pretty much everything that could go wrong did except for the gameplay itself being better.

I think it’s a breath of fresh air to get something new from Star Wars after so long. I’m sick of seeing the same 3 planets and 10 characters over and over again.
In all honesty, this might be the end of Dragons Dogma if they don’t turn it around. The first game was a commercial flop even if it is a cult classic now, the MMO crashed and burned and now they ruined a good sequel for no reason.
I just don’t see how execs will greenlight another one if this isn’t a success.
The teleport stones called “ferrystones” are 10k gold each which is a lot.
In Dragon’s Dogma 1 they give you a reusable one for free after feedback that they were too hard to find in the base game.
Looks like Capcom saw a quick buck instead this time around, with a map 4 times as big this is a much bigger issue than in the original and it seems to have been done on purpose to drive MTX sales.
I know it’s weird to think about sequels already but this was a franchise that everyone thought was dead for years only to get a second chance and flush it down the toilet at the finish line.
That’s not completely true, there is a limited number of port crystals until NG+ (around 5 or 6) and the adventurers camping kit is unobtainable otherwise (although you can get a better one from a side quest).
Ferrystones are also very rare, unlike DD1 where you get an unlimited one right away.
Releases for €60 in my local currency, so far it seems on a technical level it’s done well enough, FPS seems stable except during cutscenes (oddly enough, a lot report dropping to 30 or lower)....
I’m doing a playthrough of 3, New Vegas, and 4. Mostly focused on beating the main quests and the DLCs but I want to make sure I hit the best side quests on the way. I’m making my push to finish 3 right now and I’ve finished the DLC, Oasis, cannibals, vampires, ant quest, the other ant quest, and a bunch of stuff I’m...
I don’t understand why they insist on the MMO aspect, people are only coming back for a little while but that wouldn’t be an issue if Temtem weren’t live-service.
Okay let me start with two heavy hitters right from the get go and don’t forget these are only personal oppinions and I absolute understand if you like those games. Good for you!...
I honestly don’t get what people love so much about that game, the combat is simple and kinda sloppy, boss and enemy variety is non-existent and traversal is a joke.
I get that the story is good but it’s not so good that I can look past everything else, it even has a few big issues like the amount of times the game throws a dumb obstacle in your way to justify some fetch quest like the black mist.
This is a few days old but I might be able to help. Are you switching weapons or just sticking to a single one?
A single chainsaw gives you something like 20 shotgun slugs and a bunch of ammo for every single other weapon, you shouldn’t have ammo problems unless you are trying to kill a heavy demon with the assault rifle primary fire.
I’ve seen some enemies around level 38 or so, some areas are very unfinished but it’s kind of crazy that a new early access game has this much content.
I remember when Grounded came out on early access and had like 30 minutes of content + the starting area only.
