Oh man I bet you can get doom running in the scenario editor. The new devs may even be willing to enhance it somehow so that you could.

I’m simping for them but they are hamstrung a bit by the ancient code. They haven’t rewritten it.

Fair criticism though, maybe they should have rebuilt the engine by now.

What others said, as long as the merchants can access it, it is fine. Merchants can’t use stairs afaik so either outside or dig ramps.

Sweet ill give it a shot. The linux version had a major Graphic driver problem iirc. the player character was invisible.

Vintage Story. It is a survival game built by former Minecraft modders. It has pretty detailed metal crafting. You have to forge your items and then shape them on an anvil

I agree, if it was that alone it would be fantastic imo but the hostile fauna AND the Lovecraft demons that spawn make it so frustrating sometimes. Being unable to find tin and dieing to wolves an hour away from base (with no stock way of finding your body) is what made me stop my last run and I haven’t picked it up in about a year.
