Not trying to sound like I have rose tinted glasses or whatever but lots of my favorite AA+ games, including AAA, are so low effort now. My favorite game ever is World of Warcraft, and it’s just shocking seeing how little content you get for your $15 a month. They have been drip feeding it for years, now they are going so far...
Yep, big budget games from megacorporations are usually terrible because their purpose is to make money, not to be a great game that people love. Even when there’s a team of dedicated devs that genuinely want to make something great, they have to fight hard for it in many companies, often losing their vision to their employer’s drive to make money.
It’s got better specs on paper but in practice, my Steam Deck just just about everything without issue, even new games and most games that are “unsupported” (at least as far as I’ve tried).
Some people might also like the layout better or just be fond of Asus as a company from the good old days when they were actually decent.

Emotional damage? Ok snowflake, isn’t this one of those things people in the GQP make fun of people for all the time? I guess it only matters if it’s your feelings?
I’m no fan of Disney as a company, but I hope she loses the suit and has to pay costs.
Free speech does not protect you from anything or anyone but the government itself, if you say deplorable shit in public don’t get all upset when you have to face the consequences of your own actions (another thing conservatives love to harp on).
I have a Logitech MX Vertical and like it pretty well, but the only other vertical mouse I tried was some knock-off from Amazon that died after a couple years.

I tend not to finish most games because I am almost constantly leaping from one to another (or playing games that you can’t really beat), but I think the last one I played to completion was probably Cyberpunk 2077 around the time of release: Despite the criticism, I enjoyed the game quite a bit and the ending I did on my first playthrough was pretty damn bleak and soul-crushing.
Been meaning to play it again after all the patching and now that there’s an expansion, I might actually get around to it one of these days… So many games, so little time.
I played the Steam version of the base game, with no DLC. I did not play the Spacer’s Choice “remaster” as it has a reputation for being broken and poorly put together. I played the game to completion on normal difficulty, completing most of the side quests, spending time with all my companions, and trying to get the most...
I haven’t played much of this game, but what I have played just felt kind of bland somehow. I’m sure I’ll circle back to it one day, but I was underwhelmed initially.

The trick is to not give a shit I guess: Just play the game, and if you can’t enjoy it, why bother playing it?
There might be some mods out there to change it if you play on PC though, might also be worth looking into, but at the end of the day: If you aren’t having fun, what’s the point?
Can’t believe it took me so long to get around to playing this but I’m so glad I did. Dishonored is still my favorite of theirs but now I’ve played all their games and they are easily my favorite studio because of their rich storytelling and immersive world design....
I still need to play it, been meaning to go a playthrough on my Steam Deck but every time I hear about Prey someone is always saying it’s a great game.

Anybody remember the mods for this where you had a gun that would dispense bricks so you could build stuff? There was also a mini-nuke mod that you could use to blow up said constructions. It was one of my favorite things to do in Quake II and would often result in my computer crashing because it couldn’t handle all the collision physics.
