WarmSoda,

Used to be one of The top movie stars in the world. Not even Tom Cruz has thrown it all away yet. Smith managed it though.

WarmSoda,

His wife even gloated about fucking thier kids friend. Dude could have had any woman in the world and he picked that bitch.

WarmSoda,

Cruise can pull on that star power like no one else.
Everyone knows the shit cult he’s in, but when he’s in a movie it doesn’t matter. Even basically kidnapping Katie Holmes didn’t stop him. I can only imagine how much of an insufferable asshole he is day to day, but he still rocks as an actor.

WarmSoda,

No he was excited about marrying Katie Holmes.

WarmSoda,

True, he doesn’t push it on outsiders. He is number two in the cult though and makes speeches and stuff for them regularly. His best friend is the head guy.

WarmSoda,

Very true

WarmSoda,

I don’t know. The Owlcat games have a really deep system that Divinity and BG3 don’t have. Is that just because of the pathfinder ruleset? Or does Larian do better with simpler systems? I don’t have an answer to those questions. It might be cool to see a BG3 “version” of Pathfinder, but I think it would lose something in the process.

WarmSoda,

Builders Gate: the Flamethrower!
(The kids really like this one)

WarmSoda,

Yup, exactly!

WarmSoda,

Humans have seen this nova lots of times before. It was first identified by astronomers in the late 1800s, and it bursts about every 80 years.

Indeed, the explosion heading our way would have taken place thousands of years ago, but requires all that time for the light to reach us.

Still, it’s worth checking it out – T Coronae Borealis last shone in 1946 and this will be the last viewing opportunity before the early 2100s.

Very cool.
That is, until the article says to check out Twitter for how to actually see it.

WarmSoda,

So no range of dates then? Still pretty damned cool.

WarmSoda,

Definitely will keep an eye out. Already have the eclipse in the calendar too.

WarmSoda,

I did not expect a horror dlc. Very cool

WarmSoda,

Now that’s some trolling, holy shit lol

What adventure games do you recommend? angielski

pretty much the title. i have played most of sierra, lucasarts and telltale catalogues so if you are suggesting one of their games i’ve probably already played it. it doesn’t have to be a copycat, homage or in the same style as these companies’ games either, just that it must satisfy the vague definition of being an...

WarmSoda,

I really feel like Disco Elysium treads the line between RPG and old school Adventure Game.
If you want story, its got it in spades.

WarmSoda,

See, that’s a great idea.
We can’t allow those.

WarmSoda,

Larian Studios does technically have a single shareholder in Tencent—which owns around 30% of the company. However, an important piece of context is that Tencent appears to own what’s called a “preference” share, meaning that Tencent doesn’t have voting rights when it comes to Larian’s decision making. The rest of the company belongs to CEO and Founder Swen Vincke and his wife.

Interesting, did not know that.

WarmSoda,

Damn. And here I am still looking for my A game.

WarmSoda,

You don’t have to kill it. After the first round the entire map will be engulfed in flames and poison anyways.

WarmSoda,

Did the fourth one come out already? I honestly have no idea if I missed it or if it’s somehow still not released yet.

WarmSoda,

Who the fuck has been waiting for two years for a mobile game ? Lol

WarmSoda,

Holy shit lol I was way off

WarmSoda,

SoundBlaster.

So glad things like that are the past.

WarmSoda,

Pink Floyds welcome to the machine still gives me flashbacks to the last stage of Ecco 1.

WarmSoda,

I play Fight Night Round 3 all the time. It’s still the best boxing game. And it came out 20 years ago.

WarmSoda, (edited )

It’s a “seasonal” gig. Like a call center. They only hire how ever many people they need at a given time.

Edit. Yes, disagree with the comment for explaining how these companies work.

WarmSoda,

Exactly. When they don’t need X amount of people they clear the seats.

Production ramps up for a new game, and they fill those seats again.

Unless you “breakthrough” or prove yourself invaluable to the company your always going to be looking for a new gig.

WarmSoda,

Interesting. Tell that to everyone that’s been laid off the past six months.

WarmSoda,

So what you’re saying is they laid off people when they didn’t need them.

WarmSoda,

I get the feeling you’ve never played more than one final fantasy game.

WarmSoda,

I would love a return to turn based combat.

WarmSoda,

“haha the name!”.

The laziest of “jokes” possible.

WarmSoda,

Do you know what the word anthology means?

WarmSoda,

Portal 2 isn’t an ongoing live online multiplayer game with in game purchases.

WarmSoda,

You could probably make a case that Oblivion already has AI elements. It just wasn’t advertised as the type of “AI” available now.

WarmSoda, (edited )

It started because people begged them to keep Octopath Traveller as the title. It was the working title, and meant to be changed.

So now they’re doing simple titles as a thing.

WarmSoda,

You know what’s even worse?
Inverted horizontal, and you can’t change it.

Looking at you PSX and PS2 games.

Starfield design lead says players are "disconnected" from how games are actually made: "Don't fool yourself into thinking you know why it is the way it is" (www.gamesradar.com) angielski

apparently this is in response to a few threads on Reddit flaming Starfield—in general, it’s been rather interesting to see Bethesda take what i can only describe as a “try to debate Starfield to popularity” approach with the game’s skeptics in the past month or two. not entirely sure it’s a winning strategy,...

WarmSoda,

They both deserve it, imo.
I hope there’s more CRPG goodness on the way, and I hope the next Zelda is another departure in a different direction.

WarmSoda,

The industry knows. There were articles about how the game scared everyone because it was released finished and it’s fun.
