Somebody was suggesting this was deliberately done to bleed Pocketpair out of money and halt development that way, patent cases take years to be solved, and all during this time they have to keep paying lawyers. Nintendo likely has a small army of in-house lawyers so it’s no trouble to them, but to their victims it’s life-ruining.
My favorite is in the Dawguard DLC for Skyrim. If you somehow get far enough into the DLC to enter the Soul Cairn and you didn’t do the main story quest where you kill your first dragon, you’ll get unique dialogue with a dragon you meet in the Soul Cairn. He calls you Dovahkiin, and you can ask him why he called you that, to...
For me it’s probably Jazzpunk, but I liked Disco Elysium too. I’ve been looking for something to scratch that “Jazzpunk surrealist comedy itch” for a while and not many games have come even close.
Just recently played A Hat in Time. We’re never told, but every detail points at this being the fantasy adventures of a little girl with A LOT in common with Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, an overabundance of imagination and hyperactivity. Charming and funny (well, save for Queen Vanessa, which I feel was instead a masterpiece in ambience). Loved it, gotta try the DLC. Just be ready for hard platforming at many places.
Like many others on here, I’ve finally had enough of the constant splintering of content into more and more separate services, each offering less value....
As the title says. I severely dislike having to make accounts for every game publisher that wants to send me advertisements, collect data or whatever....
New to the Deck, am afraid to do that since it screwed up with Cloudpunk the one time i did it, just sent it to sleep with the power button and when it came back it had issues (don’t recall exactly what right now, a black screen i think) and remained until i did a full Deck reboot, feel like it’s a classic PC issue which makes sense, now i don’t send it to sleep until i’ve saved and quit
Maybe you see a plant you have to collect in game or a rock wall that looks different. What items have you caught out of the corner of your eye that you realized was just your brain so focused on looking for things in a game that you saw it IRL and made you double take?
yes, i know, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and horizon zero dawn exist, and id rather i dont know them, so what else you got? EDIT: Please stop with celeste, i get it, celeste is a thing, yall dont need to keep repeating that one
Like the title says, I’ve been painting figures with cheap dollar store craft paints (and a few other cheap materials) rather than “proper” hobby paints. Gauging if there is interest among people who might want to try mini painting but are intimidated by price or the idea of complexity....
I for one believe splurging for, say, a Vallejo basic paints set is making your life considerably easier as the consistency of any given cheap craft paint pot is a lottery, but yeah, we do need much more minipainting over here!

Pet peeve, games that won't let you save
I wish all games would just let you save whenever you want to! Why is using checkpoints and auto saves so common?...
